At our stay at Hotel Conrad in January we stayed in a great studio in Chasa Conrad.(The building opposite the main Hotel) which has the self contained studio and apartments. The staff were so friendly and helpful. though not a surprise as I had contacted the hotel via email before our arrival and Duri was vey helpful and patient with my enquires, When we arrived Susie showed us around, she apologised for her English, but in fact it was very good as we discovered along with her wicked sense of humour. She took us to our studio apartment which was even better than the photos, it overlooked the courtyard area, was beautifully fitted out, spacious and had everything you could want and need. Included was breakfast daily in the restaurant of the hotel, the food was home made and beautiful. as well as fruit salad, yoghurt, juices etc the selection of cold meats and cheeses were the best of local produce, a great range of the freshest breads and croissants, and freshly home baked cake each day. Also eggs anyway you wanted were cooked to order. Matilde always made sure we had plenty and offered us more coffee or tea. I think probably the best breakfast in Scuol. She also put up with and encouraged us practising our bad Swiss German. Hotel Conrad and the team create a a wonderful relaxing family hotel stay. The location of Hotel Conrad is in the centre of the beautiful and historic centre of Scuol, one of the prettiest Swiss villages I've ever been in. It is very convenient for getting to Motta Naluns ski slopes as one of the free bus passes through the courtyard nearby. It's also only a short walk to the main street, restaurants and the spa bath. Its a delightful and quiet area. We loved Hotel Conrad and Scuol so much we stayed an extra night. I would thoroughly recommend Hotel Conrad, and as others have said it is good value.

Super friendly and accommodating staff, the rooms were exceptionally pretty and comfortable. Included spa totes with towels for the spa, including discount for the spa. Easy to reach by bus from the main train station. Lovely breakfast and cakes from 2:30 to 4:30PM.

    Scuol combines picturesque mountain views, ski slopes and thermas. You can skiing, hiking in tthe mountains and bathing. It's wery quiet place with ainchent atmosphere. You can visit Swizz National Park and Tarasp Castle (constructed in 1040).

    nice base for walks in the area.

    nice base for walks in the area. Walking around Scuol involves little climbing and descending. It is recommended to take the elevator up and then walk to Prui. This is also a very easy gentle descent, feasible for all types of hikers. For the challenge you go from Prui to Ftan, but we took the chairlift. There are plenty of options for eating out in the center of Scuol. However, restaurants do not open until 6 p.m. and reservations are recommended.

    Scuol is a beautiful Engadine village with gorgeous views and unique and captivating architecture that caused me to take photos of nearly every house I came across. To hear locals speaking Vallader/Ladin/Romansh was a special treat! Please make every effort, Scuol, to preserve and increase the number of people who speak Romansh, a rare, beautiful, endangered language with a rich literary and musical tradition. The only disappointment is that I only saw 3 Swiss Brown Cows and not a single Oberhasli goat. My very favorites and quintessentially Bündner. This area used to be full of both. Grazia fich! A revair!

    Scuol was nice, but we stayed in Arnez very close village.

    Scuol was nice, but we stayed in Arnez very close village. We often visited Scuol because there was a free ski lift to the top, lots of wild flowers, this came with the guest card, which you could get free travel with trains and buses in the area. This saved a lot of money in a country which is very expensive

    There's not enough words to describe Scuol.

    There's not enough words to describe Scuol. My wife and I have fallen in love with the town. Food, wine and the people are great. Only one thing bothers me and that is there isn't good coffee or a cappuccino anywhere in town.

    It's a lovely family run hotel, the owners are very welcoming and friendly. As I guest, I got a pass that allowed to use the public transport and the cable car, which was really nice. Bogn Engadin spa is a 5 minute walk away, which is very convenient too.

    The apartment was good and gave us a convenient accommodation in Scuol before heading off to the mountains. The value for money was very good. It's a decent, pleasant place in a nice old house in town without pretensions.
