A wonderful hotel in a beautiful town. We stayed in a duplex room, which was nice and comfortable. There was no refrigerator or minibar in the room, but this was mentioned in the description. We arrived late, so we used the self-check-in option. There was free parking on site. Breakfast was served from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. It included everything you need for such a small and cozy hotel

    One of the most beautiful places in Switzerland, that is not...

    One of the most beautiful places in Switzerland, that is not very much known to international travelers, which means cable car prices here are way cheaper than for example Mont Pilatus. It has everything, the lakes, majestic mountain peaks, secluded Seelisberg See, the historical background. The shape of Vierwaldstättersee makes it looking like a fjord from above. I truly adore this area and I think it's highly underrated.

    Perfect place!

    Perfect place! It´s a very calm place and you will experience the real contact with the nature. In this region, you will have a lot of places to visit, or just to take a seat and enjoy the view of the lake.

    I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Tell. Myself and my little dog were made to feel so welcome, the staff even keep a little box of dog treats behind the counter for their furry friends! The staff were also extremely friendly, and very accommodating of my poor German. The food and wine was delicious, and I slept very comfortably in the single room with the incredible mountain view. Everything was clean and comfortable - I would certainly recommend Hotel Tell to anyone passing through Seelisberg.

    Very clean and tidy, had all the essentials we needed and was really pleased that a Swiss plug adapter had been left for us to use as I did not realise that I would need one which was different to the other countries in Europe that I have visited. We had originally booked for the hotel next door which was much more expensive and did not have 24 hr check in and because our flight was very late and delayed, I’m really pleased we changed. Beautiful scenery.

    Its location and the mountain view room was perfect! It was quiet and the bed was unexpectedly good, we slept very well in this place! The breakfast was ok. We would also like to mention Alex that works there. His bubbly, friendly personality made our day at that hotel. He was always ready to help if we had any troubles and to explain where can we go as tourists.

    Staff were so friendly. The view was so great and spectacular, especially room with lake view. It seems the hotel is equipped with its own bakery, as the bread for the breakfast were warm and fresh. I enjoyed the breakfast and restaurant location which provides perfect view to the lake and mountain.
