The hotel is located in the center of Sonogno, the "end town" of the Verzasca valley. From there you can make different hikes up to the mountains. It is a little bit away from the Valle Verzasca Bridge (Influenza-Selfie-Spot), but the whole valley is reachable by car or by post bus, which operates daily every hour with stops on the way. The hotel price value is quite good for Swiss price relations. It is quite basic, but has all what you need. Breakfast was included in the price and was good. Other meals can be bought there too (this hotel is also a restaurant). We slept well in the room. :) Hosts were nice.

We probably found the best accommodation in this area. Dave is a great host, he instantly made us feel at home and went the extra mile in everything, making our stay quite memorable. The room and house are quiet, cosy and very well equipped, Dave really paid attention to every little detail guests may need during their stay. Dinner and breakfast were both super delicious. This was not just an accommodation but a really great experience with lots of positive vibes.

We traveled with 4 friends from Singapore, we had a lovely time Breakfast and dinner was excellent, they did miss Eggs on the Breakfast menu, but that was not a problem. we would go back there anytime.

The staff were beyond friendly and helpful. Their cheeriness was infectious. A true asset to whoever owns the hotel. The room was very well appointed and decorated. Bathroom and shower were very good and spotlessly clean. Because of our travel plans, we didn't have breakfast but the garden/dinning area was also very well appointed. Would definitely stay here again.

    A quiet and picturesque village nestled under the mountains. The closest proper shop is 20 minutes away by bus but there are several good restaurants. Perfect for low-key walking or just sitting and looking at the scenery.

    The location in Sonogno was great, it was clean and the staff was very nice. This is more like a pension in the mountains with the toilet and shower in the hall. This is stated in the description so I was not surprised. I do feel it is overpriced for the accommodations. The breakfast was bread, butter and jam…that’s it. However I did enjoy the cappuccino’s.
