I had a fantastic stay at Phoenix Haven! The location is perfect—right in the heart of the ancient town, yet tucked away in a quiet alley, making it peaceful at night. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with a charming traditional design. The owner is incredibly kind and helpful, offering a detailed map of the town and great recommendations for food and sightseeing. If you need anything, he’s always quick to assist. This place truly feels like a home away from home. Highly recommended!

Probably one of the best views you can have along the river in this town. When I first entered the room I was blown away by the view. Very comfortable to just sit on the balcony and watch the people in traditional costumes pass by. The manager of the Inn was very helpful and friendly. The perfect place to stay for a short trip to Fenghuang.

The owner Mr. Liu went beyond his hospitality. He and his staffs were super helpful. They treated my husband and myself liked part of his family. I strongly recommend this hotel. 5 mins walk away from the river and very quiet. They serve lunch or dinner, has to pre-order a day ahead. Love their cooking. Must try.

Great location, clean and comfortable! The place is a little hard to find on your own, however, the owner Chen will pick you up from the old town gate. He was excellent, very helpful and attentive. He helped us book train tickets to our next destination and kept in contact throughout our stay through WeChat. 10/10 would recommend!

Ancient Town building completely and beautifully renovated inside. Very convenient as just 100m from the river, but also very quiet with rooms facing private inner yard. Amazing service of the owner very helpful in organizing the theatre show and river boat trip and personally showing spots around city old town.
