One of the most memorable places I have ever stayed, this is a real gem. The location is sublime and the property itself is idyllic. The hosts are incredibly nice and welcoming and the area is fabulous for exploring. Wish we had stayed longer.

I loved it all. I came for a few days and ended up staying a whole week ! This hostel really is a gem. The location is great. The facilities are just ... I mean, can you imagine having your breakfast with such a beautiful view of the mountains, watching the birds come and go ? This is just heaven. There is also solid wifi, so that as a digital nomad I could work (in stunning environment) without a problem. The breakfast are so delicious that you're just looking forward to it every morning... and the best of the best is the owner of the hostel, Doña Luz, who is just a diamond ! A woman with a warm heart, with lots and lots of advices to visit the surroundings of Pijao, who makes you feel at home and with who you laugh from the morning to the evening. I just left and I already miss this place !!

Everything. The staff is always on top of everything, the place is just amazing. This could be the best hotel in the eje cafetero. The rooms are well designed and the view is just amazing. The hotel contrasts with a beautiful town just a few minutes away. The attention to details is excellent.

We had wonderful experience in the Glamping. This business is owned by a Columbian family, very authentic and warm hearted. The housekeeping is impeccable clean and the service team all over super helpful whenever they can. Especially John was always asking if we needed something. Even if we didn’t speak Spanish the Google translator made our communication with the staff easy to communicate. We were lucky to see some wild animals like the Capybara by the river and a couple of the Armadillos at night. Close by you have a wonderful family owned coffee farm - Recucca which you can visit by mountain bike within 20min easy ride uphill and 10mins back downhill. They offer horse back riding and it’s definitely worth trying it out because the surroundings are breathtaking. The whirlpool is a super plus and the coffee in this area will be hard to find in this quality outside the coffee triangle this is what we have experienced now after writing this review and having travelled for another week. The mattress of the beds are the best we have ever had in a hotel all over the world. As a little suggestion we would have liked a mosquito net around it even there are not many mosquitoes but a few hit us at night. One suggestion we would like to give. The food selection is quite small and there is really not much option in the area. We stayed for 5 nights and for this amount of time they need to improve a bit even if they would start offering simple Colombian traditional dishes like Rice, beans and eggs or something like Quesadillas which are easy to be made. The Raclette is a nice idea and probably works for meat eaters. For me as a vegetarian it was not really a good option to have since the vegetables can’t be really seasoned on a Raclette. Still, we would highly recommended this place and would return here if we would come back in this area especially having seen a bit more of Colombia already and we are super happy that we started of our journey in the Quindio area.

Córdoba is a charming place nestled in the mountains.

Córdoba is a charming place nestled in the mountains. The landscape alone is enchanting, and the cultivation of guadua bamboo and its various uses make it unique. There are many birds, and above all, the people are very friendly. The coffee is exquisite. It would be great to return during the week to visit the guadua center.

It's a beautiful town, with lovely, authentic cafes (pubs) for drinks or food, a beautiful park, ideal weather for relaxing, and perfect surroundings for connecting with nature. It's also very close to other municipalities in Quindío.
