Lovely hotel on a very tranquil beach, loved the suite we stayed in and had a lovely dinner of fish casserole. We only stayed one night, but would recommend here as an alternative to Santa Marta or en route. The owner was really helpful, there was a storm overnight which meant the internet went down so he drove us to town to an ATM for payment and then dropped us at a bus company for our onward travel. Say Hi to Mona the dog, she is the cutest most friendly dog in Colombia!

Rooms were good size, bed very comfortable, view from the balcony was spectacular. The steam room in the spa was great as I haven't found many places in Colombia that have them. Pool area was nice though we didn't use it as we were only there one night. Staff were very friendly and efficient.

My wife and I staid here for her birthday. The property was very clean and the amenities were great. The staff provided us with contacts for transportation into Santa Marta and Rodadero. We never mentioned it was my wife's birthday to the staff, but on the morning of her birthday they came out with a cake and sang happy birthday to her. Can't recommend the hotel enough if you are looking for a quiet and peaceful place to get away too for a vacation.

Location and facilities are excellent. Room was modern, clean and much larger than expected. Staff were exceptionally pleasant and helpful. For a foreign visitor, the amount of security is a bit unusual especially given I've never seen any trouble on visits to Colombia. Overall, the facilities exceeded my expectations and the price was less than a basic hotel room in London - unbelievable value for money but perhaps I visited in low season.

Hotel itself was amazing, beautiful room and view, pool area like a private oasis. Food very good and staff extremely helpful and nice.

We had a wonderful stay at Irotama Resort! The spacious apartment was impeccably clean and incredibly comfortable. The balcony offered breathtaking views, creating a serene atmosphere. The staff were not only accommodating but also extremely friendly, making me feel truly welcome. The pool was a highlight, providing the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the surroundings.
