Everything was a 10 out of 10. The hotel is located on about 4 to 5 blocks away from the main square (between 5-10 min walk) and is located on a quiet street. The hotel premises look beautiful. Hotel staff is kind and very helpfull. The rooms are clean and big. Bathroom is also big and clean. Jacuzzi in the room. Great breakfast in the morning. Dinner was also great.

One of the best and cleanest hostels I stayed in south america! Hostel is spacious, the sleeping pods are thoughtfully made and everything is super clean and new. Owners are very lovely and helpful.

Exceptionally friendly staff and service, beyond attentive! I received more than I could ask for. Extremely clean and comfortable rooms. Beautiful bedding. Daily deep cleaning and changing of sheets and towels. Perfectly hot showers. Great value for money. Amazing town in Colombia, much more to do than in Barichara, for example, even though that town has its own magic too. Villa de Leyva has a lot of stores offering a variety of goods and prices. It is safe at night, the traditional architecture and roads take you back and the desert is just something unique. There are fun and interesting sites around, like animal farms and archeological sites. Fun for all family.

The local people were very warm and hospitable.

The local people were very warm and hospitable. The food and atmosphere at the eateries were chose was excellent. The town is beautiful as are the surrounds. We visited Raquira which is not far and a biodynamic winery Abaran. Great experiences both shopping, visiting a couple of local museums and other public buildings.

Villa turned out to be a magical spot surrounded by mountain. People are so simple and so nice and so smily! Weather is great, sunny, warm and cool at night. Food is super varied and delicious at a great price. It is a must see in Colombia!!!

Went for a wedding this time but have been there many times before. Love it for what it was 20+ years ago (a quiet little historic town of colonial architecture full of little local shops) and for what it has become: a great place for classical music, adventure (trekking, canyoning), events, art, handcrafts and great food!

Very nice old town.

Very nice old town. Closeby to Bogota so perfect for a weekend. There is more than enough things to do within Villa De Leyva but also outside. There are several Tourist points where information can be gathered.

Villa de Leyva is a wonderful place to visit.

Villa de Leyva is a wonderful place to visit. Explore this picturesque mountain town. Learn about its rich colonial past. Hang out in and around the huge main square, the largest in Colombia. Excellent food! Grab a delicious empanada or sit down for a yummy pastry and coffee or hot chocolate. There are two great spots across from the main bus station. Best deals in town! Travel tip --- If you are taking a bus from Bogota, take the Flota bus. https://www.flotavalledetenza.com/ We tried another carrier on the way there. It was NOT a fun ride! Cuidado!

Small hotel in beautiful grounds a short walk to the Plaza Mayor, Saturday Market and the start of the Mirador El Santo trail (highly recommended). The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Starting the day with breakfast in the garden was perfect. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend staying here.

Very beautiful scenery and view of the meadows and valley. Great outside facilities, staff was very friendly. Perfect for calming down, we loved our one night stop during a round trip through Santander. The city of Villa de Leyva is very close by.
