In a beautiful garden setting, with volcano views from the Rancho, the "Red Frog offers an amazing alternative in the touristy town of La Fortuna. Locally run, the host (Yannia) gave us a warm welcome to the property and was prompt to reply to any questions. Simple yet complete with everything you could want and more. A hidden gem that my family was so happy in that we extended our stay. Mucho gracias!

This is definitely the place I can say I would like to come back or would have liked to stay longer. The accommodation is cosy surrounded by beautiful gardens. Breakfast tastes like home and is delicious! Leo, host of the place as its said in Spanish “Buena gente”, you can tell its such a good person that makes this place even more home like. Clean and comfortable rooms. Friendly staff. The restaurant has excellent views over the Arenal volcano, and you can spot a lot of birds there as well. The restaurant also serves excellent dinner options, and is manned by very friendly staff. The hotel staff can also help with organizing tours and transport, and are very efficient.

The pool was very cozy both in the normal temperature part with a superlative water bar it was years that I waited for such a relaxing situation .. I had dinner several times. Optimal reception also with particular attention to families. I was also rewarded with a dinner invitation from the Resort for the whole family. SUPER! The exceptional breakfast service and also the very professional bar service among my memories great moments with the bartender Solonero. The saloon for breakfast and dinner has a fantastic view on the VOLCANO and it is absolutely unique. Activities such as horseback riding and searching for Perezosos are highly recommended and adventurous....everything absolutely an experience to replicate

Everything was AMAZING!!! Maravilloso, sin palavras. Es el paradiso! Un veradero paradiso. Piscinas maravillosas, limpio, poca gente, unas condiciones absolutamente inigualables!
