Great stop for landing into the airport in the evening. Christopher picked us up at the airport, speaks excellent English and was very helpful with any questions we had for him. Clean, hot shower and he shuttled us back to the airport the next morning to pick up our rental car.

It was actually a very comfortable stay. The owner was very helpful. I timed it, and it took 15 min to walk to the airport. The room was very clean and comfortable. Alajuela has cool nights, so lack of AC was not a problem. Great budget option for late arrivals or early morning departures.

Vicky, the apartment owner, was absolutely fantastic. She greeted us at the gate and made us feel incredibly welcome, even though we arrived late at night. Finding the place was a bit tricky in the dark, but our taxi driver was able to call Vicky for directions, which made all the difference. The apartment is located next to a busy road, so it was a bit noisy, but since we only stayed for one night, it didn’t impact our journey too much. The apartment had everything we needed for a quick stop. Vicky went above and beyond the next morning, helping us secure a taxi when we were having trouble booking one. Her kindness and friendliness made our stay even more memorable, and we were so grateful for her assistance and warm welcome! It's close to the airport cost around £15 with an airport taxi, the taxi drivers were struggling to understand where the apartment was but managed to find someone to help in the end, so I would say pre-book this beforehand so it doesn't cause stress once you arrive.

Beautiful pool and surroundings. We loved our room, especially the outdoor shower and little front patio. Everyone was super friendly and accommodating. The Aztec soup was delicious!

"Escondida" (hidden) is really not exaggerated. The Airbnb is really an oasis is an otherwise rather ordinary and rather busy city what Alajuela is. But within the Hacienda, it's all peace and quiet, with a wonderful view on a rather large garden an a swimming pool with the perfect temperature. The rooms are impeccably clean and spacy. But what interested me at least equally was the fact that I discovered actually flies of the fly family I am specialized in, which was a great surprise. Hence the score 10/10 for our residence.

Proximity to Airport!

Proximity to Airport! This facility standards were substandard. My wife hurt her foot on a dangerous doorstop, sewer gas was overwhelming, no hot water, air conditioner was not hooked up, pumping hot air back into the room. The stairs right from ground level were dangerous. English was non existent with staff. They were courteous and helpful. There were no privacy coverings on the windows. Open hole in Bathroom ceiling.

This was a great place to stay for one night.

This was a great place to stay for one night. For a small additional fee, I was picked up at the airport and very early the next morning I was taken to where I had to meet my tour bus. Also, after I left I discovered that I had left my phone charger in the room. I contacted them and they were kind enough to take it to the hotel in San Jose where I would be staying in a few days.
