Everything! It was a sanctuary for me. Clean, well-maintained, nicely designed room and space (the room was also very spacious — I could even lay out a yoga mat and practice everyday with more than enough space to walk around it). There’s a self-contained kitchen if you wanna cook. Also the owners and staff are fab — very friendly and helpful :) Close to restaurants and shops. It’s a short 2-3min walk to the main street and a big supermarket right there… and you can walk to the beach in about 10mins or less. If you’re feeling lazy, there are about 4 restaurants at your doorstep. As a solo female traveler, I also felt really safe. Would totally recommend this place to anyone visiting Tamarindo!

Muchas gracias to the owners from Hotel Casa Carlota. The Hotel is near from Tamarindo, but you may be need a car to go there. For us it was perfect far away from the trouble. But its close to a supermarket. The room was very clean and we had enough space. You also have a fridge and a coffeemachine. We used the kitchen outdoor in the cooking area for the breakfast. There‘s also a swimmingpool, which was cleaned everyday. The owners are very friendly and they also give us good suggestions. Amazing food, i would said one of the best hotel food we ever had. Really good attention from the staff, and the bar guys are an excellent company. Specially Kevin, what a great guy. Overall the cleaning and hotel installations were great, and the gardens, amazing, the name "Jardín del Edén" is totally accurate. The spot by the beach with the bar that pool and the chairs, was or favorite part. We choose this hotel as the last part of our honey moon and it blew our expectations for good, they gave us chocolates, strawberries and sparkle wine as a detail, such a lovely people. We already are thinking about coming back.
