Spectacular view, highest level property, a pleasant territory with a fireplace, proximity to the Poas Volcano - everything I liked! There is an option to buy a budget wine from reception and also to order a tasty pizza from a local bakery (beware of huge portion sizes that are bigger than expected). Seating at a fireplace with wine and watching the lights of San Jose far away down the valley - that's so romantic! Excellent breakfast option in a spectacular building

By far the best accommodation experienced in Costa Rica. The location is beautiful, the breakfast with coffee is delicious, rooms are spacious and the view is amazing. Staff is very nice.

This place was amazing! We loved it! The views, hammock and jacuzzi on the deck was perfect! There was enough hot water to fill the jacuzzi which was perfect after hiking waterfalls all day! The room is spacious and cozy with fans to keep it cool. There is a TV with Netflix. There is a coffee machine with ground coffee in the room and there is even a small fire pit at the front entrance to make food! The breakfast brought to the room was lovely. The hosts are friendly and helpful! Highly recommend this gem!

Owners were friendly and communicative. They emailed instructions and provided extra payment options since my PayPal wasn't working in Costa Rica. There were plenty of towels and extra blankets for bedding, rooms were spacious and clean, and the kitchen was well equipped with pots, pans, oils, and seasonings that made cooking at home easy.

Wonderful place. Peaceful, secluded, near poas volcan. Very rustic. Margarita & Enrique are great hosts. The trail, pond, and small waterfalls on property are a bonus.
