The location was absolutely perfect, right in the heart of Punta Uvita. The staff provided excellent attention and service. The room had everything we needed and was spotlessly clean. I truly wished I could have stayed longer, so a return trip is definitely in order!

Everything. The hotel is physically beautiful -- an exotic, tropical Oasis of serenity and calm. The individual rooms facing a shimmering pool were so well appointed. It also meant I didn't have to listen to the TV or conversations in the room next door! The bed was extremely comfortable and the waterfall shower soothing. They provided both beach and swimming pool towels. The staff could not be more helpful -- they arranged tours and even escorted me to the location, they arranged a most wonderful massage in my room, and made dinner recommendations every night.

Walking the paths and enjoying the calmness was nice. The whole property is well maintained and it's obvious they take pride in taking care while keeping the rustic nature. We didn't visit the pool or game room, but could see people enjoying it a lot. It was the end of our 3 weeks of visiting CR and loved Uvita the most. The room we had was comfortable, clean and had well stocked kitchen. Big refrigerator. No safe. The deck surrounded 2 sides and was very private and nice to sit and chill. The owner made us feel very welcome and it made our stay seem more personal than the normal hotel

Scott was a great host. Helped plan and suggest everything. Uvita isn't a crazy tourist area like Jaco or areas further north. Nice balance between tons of stuff to do (diving, hiking, adventure stuff, etc.) And just chilling out. Food in the area is awesome but pricey (worth it). Some of the Most beautiful sunsets I have seen anywhere.

Hermosa Beach is beautiful.

Hermosa Beach is beautiful. You have to pay a small entrance fee, but it’s clean and you can walk to the whales tail. There are bars and restaurants to walk to with a good choice of cuisine. Plenty of supermarkets and fruit shops.

Preferably visit on the whale watching season, and reserve a tour days before so you not lose the chance of this lovely experience, I recommend Bahía Ballena Kayaks & Tours. Beach is beautiful and relaxing, check the tide hours son you can walk to Whale's tale in low tide, and also have like 200 meters of beach to enjoy

Uvita is a great spot for families, not as crowded as Dominical, with plenty of good places to eat. However, some restaurants can be pricey and not worth it. The sea had strong currents, making it dangerous, but there was still plenty of space on the beach

My stay in Uvita was wonderful because it was October and very quiet. I was lucky to have no rain most days and explored all around the area. I loved playa Hermosa and Bahia Ballena. Both places you can walk see endless beach that's almost all to yourself during the fall.

I went to Uvita in Sep because I wanted to see the whale. While some other boats did, we didn't get that close to the whale, so the experience was not ideal for me. However, it is an excellent place for surfing, and the tide is perfect.

Hotel Faremita is a little oasis in Uvita not too far from the national park. It has beautifully designed rooms with comfortable beds and a functional bathroom. Rooms possess a nice big balcony. Tghe property has a beautiful inner courtyard with a pool to refresh yourself. At night, there is nice lightening, so you can still end the day with a dip in the water. We would definitely recommend Faremiti if you wanna stay in a cozy environment in walking distance from Parque La Ballena. We will surely revisit when travelling again to Uvita.

Beautiful place with an astonishing view from the terrace. Very kind staff and volunteers keeping it all clean and relaxt. The kitchen is big, hostel like and clean. We felt very comfortable to sit there all day, eat, work and go for a little hike to the waterfall and the bamboo forest. (so beautiful!) I loved the openness of the hostel. All in wood, cozy open rooms, enough privacy and enough space to sit and hang around outside of your room. But the view from the second floor, is the best. Quite a special place:D

I can't say enough good things about Yuli, what a great place to stay! The hotel is beautiful and has a phenomenal yoga studio, pool, and restaurant. I stayed in the dorm-style room and it had tons of space for each traveler. Very clean in shared areas and the rooms. Oscar at the front desk was incredible and went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. This will definitely be my go-to spot in Uvita

Really nice place, the owners and staff are really friendly and helpful, we have been travelling for a month now between nicaragua and costa rica and have stayed at a mix of places from budget to luxury and this place has by far the best kitchen and shower facilities out of the lot and is squeaky clean
