I don't even know where to begin. It's and excellent place with warm, hardworking and good people. Fantastic spot to hike to the volcano. We had one of the best meals here in whole Cabo Verde, Ciza is an amazing cook and traditional dishes she prepared were just delicious. It's simple, yet generous home. Rose is an excellent guide, patiently answered all our questions. We surly will be back. Keep up a good work, you are doing great 😸 Fingers crossed the restaurant will be in place, when we will be back next time!

I loved the owners they were so sweet and friendly. And their child was sooo cuute. They organized me a very good guide to hike to the volcano. His name was Du Santos and he was really really a nice guy. During the trip he learned us a little bite Kreol and told us something about Fogo. Comfy room with a private big bathroom for one night. They woke up early just to make us 5:30am breakfast, which cost only €3 each. We checked in earlier because of the ferry delay and left later because there was no transport to come back to the capital. We experienced understanding and welcoming each moment of our stay.

Exceptional! Such an amazing place and hosts. Jose and Socorro have been amazing with us all around. Jose built the place himself out of lava rock. Don't expect luxury and you won't be disappointed, you're on a volcano after all. They guided us to the top of the volcano and back, accompanied us around the area and drove us back to Sao Felipe on a sunday, when no collectivos are running. A magic place, super energetic and positive hosts, great cooks and helpful hosts.
