It is an authentic country house furnished with love and special artistic and aesthetic skills. Everything is furnished with vintage items and decorations. A vinyl jukebox from the second half of the 20th century with an excellent record collection is in operation and playing, as well as game boxes from the same period. Well furnished and decorated two bedrooms with separate bathrooms, kitchen, outdoor terrace and balcony. I was pleasantly surprised by the owner's note in Lithuanian language, with contact information, but it's a pity that I didn't get to meet the owner face to face. Entrance to the house with a combination lock. And hungry kittens, which we happily fed. There is a place to parking on the street near the house, but the street is narrow, but there is no problem for cars to pass, because the traffic here is not intense. A must walk in the authentic village of Askai, descending from the mountain, the spirit of a true Cypriot village…

The house is full of history, with beautiful stonework and wooden beams, it’s been lovingly restored. Very comfortable and excellent amenities. Your hosts, the wonderful Androulla & Nikos, really have thought of everything you might need and it’s a real home from home. Askas village is also beautiful with incredible views across the valley. Make sure you walk to the bottom of the village to see the spring and the view back to the house! Thank you Androulla & Nikos for a great experience and your incredible hospitality.

super charming traditional hotel with spirited, humorous, helpful owners. Everyone there treated us like family. The fireplace in the room is quite an amazing experience...they provide easy fire starters and just the right about of wood to have a nice roaring fire for a couple of hours. Lovely lemon trees in the outdoor courtyard

I really liked the house. The location is very quiet with lovely views. The higher altitude of that area offers cooler weather and a nice change from the very hot weather of July at the coast.

Kustos is an amazing host. We went together to the Christmas marked where he entertained playing his selfmade fluit. His "Museum Studio" has a very good atmosphere, good breakfast in the kitchen in the morning. One of our most memorable days on Cyprus!

Beautiful and well preserved mountain village, people are...

Beautiful and well preserved mountain village, people are really friendly and they show love for their place. It is obvious they take good care of it. We had dinner and lunch at two different places and they were both really good. There is also a nice coffee shop with views of the mountains.

Nothing much to see in Askas.

Nothing much to see in Askas. But there are villages next to it with much more to see, will take 10-25 minutes by car. So a great place just for relax, walk around ancient houses and stone walls and streets. There is only one restaurante in Askas but it works only Thursday-Sunday. We found it a standard touristic trap. Nice bar Mary's right in the center but only for drinks.

A tiny village, there was actually nothing there, but people who are interested in the authenticity of places will appreciate a visit to the village of Askas. Tiny stone houses, both dilapidated and renovated, a church with old graves, old huge amphorae lying here and there, a great experience for me.

The village from the angle of our hotel is really beautiful,...

The village from the angle of our hotel is really beautiful, with a very nice view of the surrounding nature. But there is nothing to do in the village. There is really nowhere to walk around, it has no real center, there are two restaurants that only work on weekends. And there is not much to explore in the area either. There are two cute villages nearby, but nothing that is particularly worth a trip. Every attraction, nature trip or beautiful and special place in Cyprus is at least a 50-minute drive away.

The destination Askas suited us perfectly.

The destination Askas suited us perfectly. A sleepy village in the middle of the mountains, great atmosphere, absolute silence. Even though we had to drive down quite winding roads every day, that's why we really got to know Cyprus almost perfectly. Opposite our accommodation was a beautiful tavern with excellent food, local wine and helpful staff. I recommend it to everyone who wants to get to know the real Cyprus.
