I liked everything about this place!! The host and his mother were so kind and helpful! The house was spotless clean and fully equipped but what won me over was the little terrace on the second floor.!! The serenity and peace i felt in Aetofolia was so precious and incomparable!!! Very cool house, cozy, clean, with a beautiful view of the sea. It's great to fall asleep to the sound of the waves. Excellent home-made breakfast. I would also like to wish for the future that there would be a better entry into the sea, as there are rocks and it's not easy with children. But otherwise everything is fine.

The room was big and spacious with a very comfy big super king size bed and perfect for our 2 night stay. There was tea, coffee, sugar and milk available along with fruits and biscuits which was a nice touch. It was a short walk to a couple of restaurants in the lovely village where we had some really good food. Rachel the host was lovely and made sure everything was just right. Room was cleaned daily and fresh towels given everyday.

A quiet friendly and well looked-after village. Lots of character with flowers, plants (and cats!) everywhere. Not the sort of place if you want lots of touristy activities, but ideal for a quiet retreat where you mix with the local inhabitants. The village is small and easy to walk around. Eating options are rather limited as we visited out of season with only two restaurants open, but we loved the way that one of the streets is closed to put tables outside!

Small but very clean and beautiful village. Pleasant to walk about. Great restaurant, Retro, good quality, fair prices. Village square offers a nice cafe at very reasonable prices. Surrounded by other small villages and the beach is very near. Cooler in the summer, warmer in the winter because of its position between the mountains.

I love the village of Kalavasos as it is a traditional...

I love the village of Kalavasos as it is a traditional Cyrpus village that is not too touristy. Their are so many things you can do in the surrounding areas. Amazing villages to visit and local honey farms and architectural digging sites and ruins to visit. You would at least three days to appreciate everything available to you in and in the surrounds of this village.

Great place to stay large rooms and a nice pool . very spacious and clean rooms . we really enjoyed the place and also a very small nice village with good restaurants to eat . the place is very quiet and very good place for a break to relax from the normal routine .

Kalavasos is one of a small number of beautiful old villages...

Kalavasos is one of a small number of beautiful old villages that lie between Larnaca and Limassol. It is only a few minutes from the main road but very quiet with an excellent local tavern, coffee shop and restaurant. There is a well stocked supermarket. In addition to the many apartments available to rent, the Library Hotel is excellent. Walks of various lengths can be taken from the hotel or by driving to nearby villages like Tochni or Choirokoitia. It is a short drive to the coast but be aware that there is a large, unsightly power complex between Governer's Beach and Zygi. So, for scenic seaside locations you need to drive further away.

amazing accommodation, Kalavasos village is very beautiful and in this time of the year it’s one of the Cypriot Christmas villages. the jacuzzi outside is the perfect way to end your day and watch the stars. amazing , plus it’s a dog friendly so we could take your 2 little dogs with us. parking just next to the house, Thomas was very nice and ready to help with anything we would need .

I have stayed in a lot of 5 star hotels, but this place has exceeded my expectations. The host is very nice. The breakfast served every day is just superb. My breath was taken away with the hospitality. If you are looking for a five star stay this is the place to go.
