Our first holidays in Cyprus was amazing. We situated in village Pomos at Joanna appartments where we were the most of the time. Because we felt there like at home with the neighbour donkey on the side. Owner Vangelis made our trip even more marvelous with assignation to the biggest and comfortable appartment, fresh fruits (mango, fig, pomegranate) from the garden, advices where to go and rent a bike. He took us to the local restaurant where we tried local food - Meze. The highest recommedation for the journey if you are looking for nice hospitality and quiet space.

Keep in mind that it is a remote and quiet area.

Keep in mind that it is a remote and quiet area. The only (comfortable) way to get there is by car, so renting one is a must or very highly advisable. The beach is a bit rough and covered with pebbles, like most beaches in Cyprus, but you can still find couple of sandy spots for an easy entrance. You will be there alone most of the time. It felt however that some works are/were under way to make it a bit more "touristy". There are couple of small shops in the are but I would recommend passing by LIDL in Limassol or Paphos on your way from the airport to stock up major groceries for your stay. You may still buy ice-cream, pepsi and bread in the local shops at twice the normal price :-) P.S. Sunsets are simply fantastic.

Quiet area, you go to it to get away from everything and...

Quiet area, you go to it to get away from everything and everyone, you don't see a lot of people in the streets, you don't hear noises or disturbances, you can hear the sounds of animals, the sea is very beautiful, I haven't been to the beaches but it looks nice and quiet, there is not much to do, There are not many restaurants or cafes, so you should pay attention to this point, and bring some food and snacks.

I recently had a wonderful stay at JOANNA SUNSET Apartments. Situated in a peaceful location, this place offers a truly tranquil experience. The owner was amiable, making me feel right at home. The nearby beaches were perfect for bathing and fishing, while the garden provided fresh and delicious fruits. The area itself is quiet and uncrowded, with excellent restaurants nearby. Amazing! The property was clean and well kept. It was huge and had a lovely bbq and swings. The pool was huge and very deep, however it was VERY COLD. I recommend paying extra to have it heated. the owner was so friendly, we even had a bbq with him and his wife on one of the nights. Very lovely people living near by. I recommend trying ‘koullas’. It’s a Lunch shop about a 10 minute walk towards pomos and has spectacular views.

I really liked the friendly staff, view from the window, pool, facilities, pool bar where you can find drinks and snacks 24\7. There is a beautiful road by the see to the Pomos harbour where you can find wonderful beach, beach bar and a Kanalli fish restaurant which was amazing.

The location was beautiful…the apartment was very clean, & the owners were lovely & helpful..11 out of 10…the town was very old Cyprus…you need a car to travel to other towns with accessible beaches which were a 20/30 minute drive
