A quite original idea and a lot of work, investments and dedication to it, all visible everywhere. Free parking place in front of location, good restaurant (with tasty beer), open until late, excellent breakfast. Everything was clean and tidy and the people were very nice.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Ostrava. From the moment we arrived, everything was easy and comfortable. Check-in was quick and hassle-free, and the location was very easy to find with convenient free parking available. The room was spacious, very warm, and incredibly quiet, which made for a perfect night’s rest. The bed was extremely comfortable, and having a big room with a smart TV was a great bonus. The area around the hotel is peaceful, with a lovely walking park nearby that’s perfect for a relaxing stroll. A special thanks to the receptionist, Lucy — she was very kind, understanding, and spoke excellent English, which made us feel truly welcome. Her friendliness really added to the experience. Overall, a fantastic stay with great comfort, calm surroundings, and excellent service. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Ostrava.

This was a very good find. Situated very near the central railway, Hostel Moravia also has a tram/bus stop outside the door. Literally - 3 steps from the bus and you are at the front door. Inside you'll probably be greeted by Radka who will give a quick tour and show you to your room. My room had a double bed that was very comfortable, along with a table that was good enough to work from, and wi-fi strong enough to hold a quick meeting on. The facilities - kitchen and shower - are shared. I never had any issues in accessing them, though I did go at a very quiet time of year. These communal areas are very clean. Other staff would check in to see if everything was okay. One time I needed a new towel and within a minute, I had a new towel. This is a really good independent business and if you're in Ostrava on a budget, you can't do better than this.

We were transiting through the Czech Republic to Austria and this hotel in Ostrava was perfect for us as it was on the way. The hotel is located in a student dormitory, but was easy to find. We had a 2-room suite - comfortable, clean and tidy. Comfortable beds. The breakfast on the second morning was also good.

Very nice, quiet place in a good location. The owner was very friendly. The room was cozy and warm, there was a little fridge, kettle and some plates and cups. I was in Ostrava several time and this place is my favourite.

This may be the best accommodations I've ever stayed in. Interior design is wonderful and practical. A lot of storage space. Well equipped all around (TV with a lot of channels, stationary supplies, board games..), kitchen (appliances, utensils, variety of teas and coffee), bathroom (bottles of shower gel, shampoo etc). Tram stop literally at the doorstep with great connections, another stop connected to other parts of the town 3min away. Three main grocery stores within 5-10min walking distance. Train station some 20min on foot. Floor heating, radiator, AC in both rooms - with controls. Many lighting options. Apartment with code operated front door (building entrance has a normal key). Nice quiet area. Balcony with a pleasant view. There was a welcome drink and a jar of herbal water and fruit. The industrial feel of the apartment's design goes perfectly with the rest of the city.
