Very comfortable home, very well equiped kitchen, two bathrooms, comfortable beds. Wonderful terrace. I found everything I needed. There Was also place for bonfire and covered place for bicycle. Everything like in the description. Good place to visit Czech and Saxon Switzerland, and also Dresden😀

This is a great place to stay. Close to the Castle and nice walks. Elevator. Breakfast good. Best of all the Indian Restaurant in the hotel is superb, as good as any I have been to. On a town square well served by frequent buses.

Comfy bungalow room, nice view with a personal terrace are nice to spend time during warm days. Nice restaurant. As of Spring 2023: For those, travelling for hikes: Be aware, that last year forest fire happened close by, large portion of the forest to the west of the hotel was burned down and is considered unsafe! Better go east!

I really like the hotel, staff and food. The hotel room was nice, clean and comfortable and quiet. The dinner and breakfast was really tasty and personal.staff was very kind and helpful. I would appreciate a better orientation system in hotel and also some more cosy chair in the room.

It was perfect. The room was clean, comfortable and had an amazing view of the mountains. The room was also surprisingly large and it was lovely and quiet. I thought the free breakfast was a lovely touch and extremely generous. The hotel has many great facilities and I can see how it’s extremely family friendly with what it has on offer. I’d definitely recommend and stay again.

Really nice walks around, hiking trails, forest, etc!

Really nice walks around, hiking trails, forest, etc! Very beautiful and the trails are very clearly marked. I recommend the app mapy.cz to find the trails from the village. We were without a car which was a bit tricky because the bus from Decin is not easy to find, and when we hiked from there to other locations we had to order a taxi back which was pricey (but we walk very slowly, if you’re faster you can make it a round trip or hike back). But taking the bus from Janov back to Decin was very easy. If you’re vegetarian or vegan take in account that you’ll have to eat mostly potatoes and tomatoes all over the area. There is a small mini market in Janov. Also, most people in the whole area don’t speak English at all - only German and Czech! So you might want to have internet connection to use google translate.

From Genoa you can walk to almost every natural monument, viewpoint, etc. Genoa is located in the middle of the events of Bohemian Switzerland. It is worse in winter with restaurants and shops. Most are closed, the nearest shop is in Děčín.

Genoa is a picturesque town with a diverse landscape.

Genoa is a picturesque town with a diverse landscape. There are several tourist spots in the vicinity, some with lookout towers. Every day of your stay, there is somewhere to go and a new destination to set for yourself. The local cuisine is full of refined taste, the food is really great here. I have not had any negative experiences during my stay.

The town is pretty and well-maintained, with well-kept houses and some gems nearby. It's a very good starting point for excursions, with a bus service available. There are several delicious restaurants, all close together, so you generally don't have to walk all over each other. It's a nice village.

A small, quiet mountain village with a picturesque setting. We visited in February, so it was off-season, and we couldn't find an open restaurant. Payments are made in cash in the area; credit cards are practically useless.

Nice, comfortable, quaint hotel, near located at all Hot Spots of the „bohemian Swiss“. Great selection at the breakfast buffet. We had small organization trouble regarding reservation with dog, but super well and discreetly solved from the manager. Thanks for that. 👍🏻👍🏻 When we we‘re near by, we would swing in again.

A very friendly and quiet hotel. It is certainly a bit outdated, but still comfortable and very clean. Dinner and breakfast are nothing fancy, but healthy and sufficient. The surprise of the stay was a performance by a local jazz pianist. Made for a nice evening!

The area is beautiful and the house is very easy to live in. We enjoyed the garden a lot and we found a lot to do around Janov (hiking, visits, swimming...). The host is very responsive and helpful.
