The best check-in experience in a hotel (and I have been in many); the receptionist asked for my name - I got the room key + a few bits and pieces about the place (internet, breakfast) and within 1.5min we were on the way to our room. The breakfast was unbelievable - selection, quality of the products served, etc. - everything 1A. Keep up this standard.

Nice family hotel in a small town. We were upgraded to a newly renovated room, and it was lovely. Breakfast included special breads and a great variety of food. I noticed some nice little touches for kids, like a plastic cup in the bathroom, gummy bears on the bed, and a stuffed animal hanging on the door (available for purchase). My daughter loved it! The charging station for electric cars is a fantastic addition for anyone driving south on holiday with their EV, although it’s a bit pricey since it’s operated by an external provider and not the hotel itself. There’s a restaurant on-site, but also a picnic table just outside the entrance if you’d prefer to bring your own food. The staff are super nice and friendly.

My rating is not entirely fair because I overlooked the fact that it was a diaconal guesthouse when booking. If you are looking for peace and a deep feeling of religious security, this is a really nice place. Of course everything is furnished rather functionally, simply and modestly, with as much comfort as necessary. For me it was a trip back in my youth by chance, for my Dutch colleague it was a bit irritating. I thought it was cool. Thank you very much!
