Wandering around the old town was wonderful and the quaintness of the streets, houses on bridge, and beautiful river and park was lovely and very relaxing. A must visit is the basilica and a walk around the hilltop for views over town. Easy to get around by foot because it's small. Erfurt is a beautiful medieval city with lots to see and do, great walks around the city, delicious food, artisan chocolate, atmospheric, beautiful evenings. Absolutely delicious coffee, the freshest of breads, cheeses, yoghurt etc. it was exceptional and the staff were delightful. Centrally located for everything there is to see in pretty Erfurt.
