First of, we were very impressed with how professional this Hotel is. Shortage of staff is clearly not the case here. No matter if you look at the reception, the restaurant or the cleaning staff. You will always find some busy employees who are happy to help and naturally kind and friendly. The room was prefect, the beds comfortable, the cleaning staff excellent and attentive. Breakfast is a buffet for everybody. No matter if you have special needs because you’re Vegetarian or religious, the buffet has plenty of choice. We even received a lunch packet because we had to leave very early in the morning, before regular breakfast times. Even that contained plenty of snacks and sandwiches. The parking in front is huge and for free, also lightened up at night (as we had to find out in Germany in bad Hotels that’s not the case), so we were quite happy about that. In 5-10 minutes on foot you can reach the big shopping mall PC (Paunsdorf Center) or the tram station next to it with which you can reach the city center (ca. 30-40 mins until center). Access to the Autobahn is close and can be reached in around 5 minutes by car. The location is quiet and peaceful, from our neighbouring rooms we never heard any noise. Overall the best Hotel in Germany we visited so far! Can only recommend.

The Park hotel is located very close to the Voelkerschlachtmal and surrounded by a lot of green areas (parks, cemetry). The hotel is a family business and so our welcome was very warm and nice. We got a great, spacious room (entrance with wardrobe, big bathroom with shower, room with tables and TV) with a garden view. Everything was clean and well maintained. The beds were very comfortable and due to the hotel's location it was also very quiet. You reach Leipzig city center (Augustusplatz) by car within ca. 10 minutes. Public transport (tram, bus) is in walking distance (ca. 2-3min). The hotel has a restaurant but small "Imbiss" as well as a supermarket are available in walking distance. Unfortunately, we only stayed for two nights and did not try the breakfast but, next time in Leipzig, we will catch up :) Hint: When you arrive by car and want a spot in the garage (10€/day), make sure you reserve one by contacting the hotel. Bookings says "no reservation" but it only applies to the parking lots outside.

Very nice and clean property. Suited us well on our one night stay in the middle of the long drive. There's nice shop and bakery just down the road if someone wants some lovely German products (beer, sausages, pastries). I haven't tried breakfast but it looked tempting. Nice staff.
