It is a super small town so I would say 1 day is enough. We were lucky there was a festival going on otherwise it is really a place to chill and relax providing good weather. Husum is not very large, but large enough to provide...
Husum is not very large, but large enough to provide everything you need. There are good public transport links to many places, at least 3 large supermarkets, a local market on certain days, and plenty of cafes and restaurants. A short climb up the sea wall opposite the hotel leads directly to a lovely circular nature trail. The staff were friendly and helpful, and my room was spacious, comfortable and clean. There was a good choice of food at breakfast. As the hotel is quite isolated, I chose to take my evening meals there and set menu provided a reasonable choice of well prepared dishes. A better host you won't find. It's a B&B with shared toilet/shower facilities. Very clean. The space room itself had a 'Himmelbett' with funny Christmas lights. Quiet street in Husum centre and thus a good sleep. No breakfast is served but it is possible to buy bread from the bakery around the corner and eat it in the common room, enjoying a cup of tea.
