We liked everything, everything in the house is fine, kitchen, bedrooms, bathroom. Lots of space, location was perfect. Everything is close, Switzerland, and France. The internet worked very well. Superb stay. Friendly family run guesthouse. Beautifully situated, driving through the forest to get here. Beautiful views. Large clean spacious room leading to a large shared terrace that can be partitioned for privacy. Room no.4 had tea, coffee facilities, sofa and table and a large, clean bathroom. No fridge in the bedroom, but water and drinks available from shared fridge in the landing. A lovely touch when holidaying in Germany. Breakfast was delicious with choice of meats, cheese, jams, fresh bread rolls and juice, and their scrambled eggs were the best ever! Beautiful restaurant also for an evening meal. We had the steak, and their grilled meat plate. Homemade fries and more fresh vegetables would have been more appreciated on the plate rather than just shop bought fries. However the meat was perfectly cooked. Dessert was delicious. Great choice of wine available.

A very nicely situated, furnished, and organised guest house. The staff were friendly and the (bath)room was nice. The single bed is also fine for me, given the reduced price. Breakfast in the morning was well prepared, though only starts at 08:00 on the weekends.

Had an amazing stay at this hotel! The location couldn’t be better—right in the heart of the city, super easy to get around and explore. The room was clean, comfy, and had everything I needed. Staff were super friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Great place to relax for a stopover. Would definitely book again!

This is a beautiful area and I shall certainly return.

This is a beautiful area and I shall certainly return. It's for those people who like peace, tranquility and enjoy walking. Our favorite spot was Nonnenmattweiher but there are plenty of places to visit. I would suggest going over the weekend or later in the week as quite a few things were shut on the Monday and Tuesday of our stay.
