It was one of the nicest hotels we stayed in. The location is half an hour from Zurich. After leaving the hotel we went to Rhein Falls. It was very close and we reached it in 20 minutes by car. We checked in late and there was a box for us with our key and instructions on how to get to our room. The room was clean and big. There was no bad odor. There was a small refrigerator in the room. There was all the necessary information in a file. They even wrote the doctor numbers for emergencies. Our breakfast in the morning was great. Everything was very fresh and delicious. The staff was friendly.

Perfect location (15 min for the Rhinefalls by car, easy to reach by train or bus). Next to supermarkets and train station but in a calm and safe area. The appartment has everything you need and is beautifully decorated with style. Well equipped especially in the kitchen. Checkin is super easy and the host is very helpful. Price is lower than most of properties in Switzerland and nearby.

This is a good "stopover" town-especially if you want to be near Switzerland but have German prices. There isn't a lot of "glamor" in the town; but there is a good restaurant (called the Hirschen), a good place to shop, and a McDonalds.

The hotel provided a very good experience with excellent staff. The calm village of Lottstetten is situated in the beautiful countryside just across the border from Switzerland and within easy reach of tourist attractions, Zurich and its airport. There are various restaurants and shops within foot distance of the hotel. People in general are very friendly.

I recommend this place to other travelers; it's a very beautiful region. We were only passing through, so we weren't able to visit anything else. We had dinner at a very nice restaurant in the village.

Lottstätten was ideally located as our starting point for bike tours. Otherwise, it was very quiet and there wasn't much going on. We had to go to the next village for dinner and drive there, as the few restaurants were closed 2-3, even 4 days a week. A car is absolutely necessary to get around Lottstätten, as there's no activity at all in the evenings. Not really suitable for young people!

It's very peaceful.

It's very peaceful. We went during a "normal" period, without any public holidays or national breaks, and yet it felt like every day was Sunday. If you're looking for peace and quiet, you'll find it. However, for meals, you'll need to plan on going to the neighboring towns or at least a 20-minute drive away for a good restaurant.
