Fabulous apartment in Mittenwald. Huge size and very comfortable. Magnificent views from the balconies. Possibly the best apartment we've ever booked. We loved it so much. Can't wait to return to Mittenwald and Ferinhaus Werdenfels.

A beautiful little town in the mountains. There are sooo many choices of where to eat. Walking around oldtown is a treat with the paintings on the buildings, views of the mountains and decisions of where to eat. Oldtown is completely walkable.

Picture perfect Mittenwald has the perfect balance of of beautiful buildings, plenty of food options, and beautiful shops. We enjoyed spending an afternoon hiking the nearby Leutasch-Klamm Wasserfallsteig.

We've been to Mittenwald many times and it's one of my favorite places in the region. It's a beautiful village with lots to see and do. There are many places to hike and a cable car trip to the top of Karwendel is a great way to spend a day.

Mittenwald has a lot to offer for all ages and interests.

Mittenwald has a lot to offer for all ages and interests. The historical city centre has a number of sights and a good choice of restaurants - for many the real beauty begins once you leave the city. From taking cable cars, walking along the river or through the forest to climbing peaks up to around 2,500 m, the natural surroundings are stunning. The city does a good job at offering public buses that take tourists to the most important sights and trailheads, giving us the chance to leave the car at home and help preserve the gem that Mittenwald is!

We loved wandering through the town, looking at all the painted façades of the old buildings. There is a variety of walks from Mittenwald. We did the walk to the Leutascher Geisterklamm, beginning at the Koboldpfad & completing a figure 8, crossing the Panoramabrücke twice. We also took the Kranzberg chairlift to the top, then walked to the Lautersee, down the Laintal, following the waterfall & back to Mittenwald.

The view of the beautiful Alpine Triangle is stunning. We were very lucky that on the first day we arrived, the weather was clear and sunny, with a strong sun that made for great photos. When it was time to leave, the weather turned gloomy and it started to snow heavily, with big, fluffy snowflakes. The entire trip was a wonderful experience, and I highly recommend it.

Lovely location with mountains right outside, just around the corner from a nice walk with a waterfall as well. Big and nice room, room was cool enough despite higher temperatures outside. We arrived late which wasn't a problem at all since we could just retrieve the key outside. Our dog was welcome as well without any issue. Great stay and Mittenwald is lovely! Also just a 15 minute walk to the start of the walking route to the Geisterklamm. Good breakfast as well!

The apartment was exceptional with the majestic view of Mountain Karwendel right from the balcony. We were on a short weekend trip to Mittenwald during Halloween and everything in the apartment was perfect. The trails to the lakes started just 100 meters from the apartment. We did not have a car but had no issues to reach the apartment since it is just 1.3kms up from the train station. The walk through the town and up to the apartment was beautiful.

OMG, this is the cutest town in Germany with amazing middle grade hikes, and few tourist hordes (lots of tourists from other parts of Germany but they blended in :) The hotel is a hike up a hill but you can go through an amazing botanical garden to get there, and you can sit in common areas drinking a beer with an amazing view of the town and the mountains.
