The location of the hotel is just opposite the main train station. Also, its a very prime location from where you can easily access market and take bus or tram to reach any other place within minutes. Also, the hotel check-in process was quite smooth and quick. I reached late at night around 8 PM. But they send me the checkin process beforehand for good stay. Staff is so polite and humble. They are quite welcoming and their gestures make me comfortable. Infact, I was not well and requested for late checkout around 11:30 AM and they allowed it and I waited for an hour more at the reception for my train to next destination. The room was so comfortable and clean, giving a feel like designed for princess. Finishings are too good and all the information already placed at my table when I checked in the room

We loved staying here. We arrived in the middle of the night, had no issue getting in. The beds are very comfortable and large, there is lots of open space, and everything was immaculately clean. We wished we could stay longer and will return for sure. The host was lovely, quick to respond and easy going. Would highly recommend to all!

Whilst initial impressions may not appear promising,...

Whilst initial impressions may not appear promising, Nordhausen does have a pretty old town, some interesting museums and galleries and pleasant parks. It is also a very compact city with many of the main attractions easily reached on foot. It also has a small tram system which is useful for getting about. Pleased be advised that there is not much in the way of night life, there is a theatre and cinema and a few good restaurants and bars but not much else happening at night.

Nordhausen is a more interesting town than you might think.

Nordhausen is a more interesting town than you might think. Most of it had to be rebuilt in the communist style after WW2, but there is still an old quarter with cobbled streets and timber framed houses which was restored and the contrasts between the two are interesting to see. Couple of nice parks as well. Barfuss restaurant in the old town is nice. Town is southern terminus of the Harz narrow gauge railway - well worth a trip. City centre fairly compact for walking around.

Nordhausen has a beautiful old town.

Nordhausen has a beautiful old town. The signposted "Historical City Walk" is highly recommended; it's perfect for a leisurely stroll. There are many parks and playgrounds, as well as several large shopping centers.

Nordhausen has a lot to offer, but this time I was just...

Nordhausen has a lot to offer, but this time I was just passing through. Several museums are recommended, as well as the Nordbrand brewery with its guided tour and tasting, and of course the Harzquerbahn railway, which starts there.

The city of Nordhausen itself is quite nice; had we had more time, it certainly would have been a good opportunity to explore it thoroughly. Beautiful old buildings were visible everywhere; the city center is presumably very atmospheric.

The room seemed to be clean, comfortable and tidy, but I could not enjoy it at all, because I got locked outside the room in the early evening, with the keys and personal things inside it, and no staff to unlock the door for me, therefore I could not sleep there and had to spent the night in another hotel (and obviously pay for that)...

The location is great in the historic heart of Nordhausen. Tha apartment is fine, shower (private) and kitchen outside the main room, ensuite toilet. The hosts are extremely nice and they run a very good restaurant downstairs. The shower is great with a very hot water and hi-pressure. Anything is tidy and clean.

The apartment was located in the old town with a beautiful view of Nordhausen. It was in a quiet location within easy reach of shops and restaurants . The apartment was very well equipped and the host was very helpful and friendly . We absolutely recommend this apartment and would happily stay there again.
