It is a good spot between Dresden and Meißen.
It is a good spot between Dresden and Meißen. You can get by train to both of them or even to the Sachsische Sweiz (Bad Schandau etc.). Also the Moritzburg castle and its forests is reachable by a steam train (it is worse with buses, better to use car otherwise). There are vineyards everywhere and many small castles or big villas.
