the hotel lies in a hill overseeing the lake with hiking trails going in and out to the mountains from it. The Spa was great as well as the dining experience in their restaurant. We visited for our honeymoon and the staff left a very special detail in our room which was very much appreciated.

The view over the lake was stunning, both from the room and from the breakfast room terrace. The room was cozy, well-appointed and charmingly Bavarian in style. Best of all: the receptionist, a young man who made it a point to speak your language (he surprised me with how good his Spanish was) and absolutely helpful, mailing us some stuff we forgot in the room. To top it all off, breakfast was also very good. I definitely recommend this place which, although a bit strenous to get to on foot from the lake below, is definitely worth every cent.

Great location, walking distance to everything.. got a bigger room, so can't speak of the single room but the double was plenty big 😅 , clean and comfortable.. Amazing hosts, good breakfast.. bicycle place in the locked garage.. Easy to find thanks to large signs..

This was a fantastic apartment, a great view of the mountain and little bit of the town - the supermarket was a 1 minute walk away, as was a great little bakery. We had fresh towels, the apartment was super clean and Jacqueline was so incredibly kind and communicative before, during and after our stay! The little balcony was great to have as well as we could sit outside while it was raining. Amenities were all there that we needed, and we were very happy there. I would 100% stay here again.

    Small town, quite busy. Surprising few restaurants! We ate in same Ristorante Trastevere two nights. Good. Nice lake in which you can swim. Early August temperature was fine. Pleasant boat trip to, and walk through, Bad Wiessee. Hotel Caro & Selig is well located though quite expensive.

    Best gateway if you are leaving nearby munich, really beautiful and nice and definitely not spoiled with influx of tourists. Destination is well connected, one can take direct train from munich central station and reach there in about an hour.

    The Hotel is amazing. It is really comfortable and nice. We spend our wedding night in October 2019 there and we were really happy and had a great experience. Sadly, when we decided to come back this time with our 1 year daughter we had a very different (bad) experience. The Hotel is definitely not friendly for kids. After giving it a lot of thought we decided to stay one night at the hotel, mainly because of the amazing pool. Check-In is at 15:00h and Check-out at 12:00. When we got there, it turned out that kids are not allowed in the pool after 14:00h. So we couldn't use the pool the first day and the second day we only got to be in the pool just a couple of hours . - No one told us about the pool regulations although I called and said I was traveling with a kid. I just hope that they put this information more explicitly and accessible at their web page so parents know the implications of traveling with kids. Amazing Hotel but definitely not for traveling with children.

    This was the best spa hotel we ever visited. The level of the facilitates were just mind blowing… The room was exceptional, we stayed in building Wallberg with lake view. The spa facilities were out of this world, with 6 saunas specially the panoramic one, the pool with open air exit and the relaxation room… The staff service was just amazing.

    Nice fresh rooms, good location if you are traveling through the area. A bit commercial hotel but that’s expected from Marriott. They were quite dog friendly although the dog charge was the highest we had so far during our trip.
