Very close to station and yet the old town was also within easy walking distance. The free coffee and chilled water on tap available from the lobby 24 hours a day was very welcome (especially given the hot weather: it was nice to fill my water bottle before heading out and after coming back). This was a simple, efficient, unfussy kind of a hotel. All the guests seemed to be content and everything worked well. It was really a pleasant place to stay.

Awesome place, really close to Tübingen's heart, a 3-minute walk to the Neckar river. Very good restaurant, we had dinner and breakfast there and the experience was really great. Parking is available in a parking lot nearby, a 1-minute walk, no problem at all (but it is not free, 15 Euro a day).

What an incredible place! Absolutely gorgeous dècor in the main hotel and rooms. The rooms were fabulous, quirky calm quiet and comfortable. Lovely cascade shower. Secure underground parking. Wonderful breakfast. Staff friendly and helpful. Short taxi/bus ride into the old town. Will definitely stay again.

I absolutely loved this hotel, it was so charming, comfortable, and pleasant and every step. The location is both next to the city centre, as well as the park alongside the river, suitable for walks. We liked the lobby, which was warm and nicely lit, with comfortable sitting areas, charming little touches like figurines from Alice in Wonderland. The room was spacious with a sitting area and a coffee table, with complementary water and a coffee machine in the room, lots of space, excellent bathroom and a lot of nice toiletries. We loved the breakfast, it had many more options for gluten-free and vegan diets than any other hotel we know, even chia seed dairy-free yoghurt, and honey directly from the honey comb, shakshuka vegetables, etc. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The spa was a nice comfortable space, too. We really recommend the hotel.

The location is close to the river and a good group of restaurants, plenty of space, clean, and a very good breakfast. Bus 22 goes to the city from outside the Hotel. Highly recommend.

    Lovely medieval old town, very well preserved with few architectural sins. In springtime beautifully flowered, very clean despite the masses of visitors. Extraordinary city hall from the 16th century. Spectacular location on the Neckar river. Lots and lots of pubs and eateries, it is, after all, a student town. Try the restaurant "Forelle". Lovely, beautifully decorated dining hall with murals from the 19th century and excellent, reasonably priced food and friendly service.

    I was there on a working trip at the university so I was...

    I was there on a working trip at the university so I was only one day a tourist. It is a sweet little town with an AltStadt that escaped bombing in WW2, full of half-timbered buildings and a pleasure to walk around. I speak German so I was able to talk to people, took part in University activities. I was there in January so not much going on outdoors but the indoors university town culture was wonderful. I plan to go back next year for another working trip, will explore more. Bus system is very good.

    There was a fun atmosphere as the muddy brown river was full of people boating, and bands playing on some boats. Crazy bright flowers everywhere. And the town square was more beautiful than expected, and we almost missed it, thinking the bridge area was the main attraction. We ate at Barren Tapas and it was very good, and affordable.

    Old town was very scenic and the authorities have gone to a lot of expense to make the town attractive. The flower displays were everywhere particularly on the Neckar bridge and very impressive. A vibrant centre with plenty of shops, cafes etc. We would certainly recommend a visit.

    Beautiful student town, stunning in Sumer with beautiful old town, lovely river and bridge to appreciate the surroundings, quite busy but still charming and quaint, short drive to Stuttgart for a daily excursion, lots to do and see.

    Tübingen is a historical university town near the edge of the Schwäbische Alb (a low range of forested hills). The old town is delightful, with numerous pubs, restaurants, and individual shops and boutiques (very few chains). Be sure to take a guided boat trip on the Neckar river!

    Good Ibis Styles hotel, sited very central in Tübingen. Neckar river just outside. Breakfast excellent, very service minded staff, clean room, parking in basement. Always good to have a family room which sleeps 4. We happened to forget a thermos flask in the room, which the hotel promptly shipped for us. Nice service.

    The host was very friendly and thoughtful, my room was clean, comfortable and tidy, with a minibar full of beverages as well as a couple of snacks, breakfast was also great. The Penthouse has a wonderful view of Tübingen and the nearby hills. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Tübingen.

    Fantastic hotel very close to the centre of Tubingen. Room was spacious, comfortable bed and large bathroom. Breakfast was excellent. Staff at front desk were extremely helpful and went out of their way to accomodate any needs. Would definitely stay here again.
