this hotel is a real gem! we have made a stop on a long drive-way and all we were looking for is a nice and comfortable place to sleep over. the building, staff, facilities, restaurant (amazing food!!!) exceeded all possible expectations. will come back here for sure and will stay longer!

This is a great hotel with friendly and efficient staff. The food in the restaraunt has improved markedly post covid and I can wholeheartedly recommend the Chateaubriand. Breafast is of good quality and size and other breakfast dishes are available on request. The chef and dining room staff were excellent

Very cosy apartment. Had everything you may need - coffee, cream, tea, and even perfumes or slippers (children loved them). very nice small town in the middle of the mysterious mountains. And very calming river just outside the window

Unfortunately, we were only there for one night as we were passing through. I will definitely visit this hotel again and spend a few days there to also use the spa area. A truly comfortable hotel for relaxing.

The location is convenient for interesting destinations such as Bayreuth, Kulmbach, and Ochsenkopf. Wunsiedel, with its famous rock labyrinth, is also easily accessible. Shopping is available in the village, and nearby you'll find the Frankenfarm with its farm shop and excellent restaurant.

We were traveling with a group of railway enthusiasts.

We were traveling with a group of railway enthusiasts. We visited the German Steam Locomotive Museum, the Selb locomotive depot, and of course the Schiefe Ebene (Inclined Plane). The visits exceeded our expectations.

Wirsberg is well-located between Bayreuth and Kulmbach.

Wirsberg is well-located between Bayreuth and Kulmbach. Cycling tours are certainly interesting, though some routes involve significant elevation changes. Bayreuth, with its city center, is interesting, and Kulmbach also offers a varied and enjoyable walk.

This is a good quality versus cost hotel. It is a little pricey for the average or younger traveller maybe but has good size rooms, a good restaraunt( The steak and crepes were excellent) spa and is very near walking areas. The staff are professional and helpful. The outside terrace area and view from the hotel are beautiful and sitting there with a relaxing drink or over lunch is a great way to wind down. Check-in was easy and efficient.
