The location of Hyrdeskolen is absolutely beautiful, with woods and vast green fields around. It's peacefully and quiet. One of the room's windows is facing South where beautiful sunsets can be seen but it's better to go outside. There is a space to sit outside with your morning coffee or at any time of the day. The room is simple but it's clean with two comfortable armchairs, there is a fridge, kettle and a Tchibo coffee machine, which I much appreciated. It's a lovely touch to facilitate a good coffee machine with a nice coffee in the room, so you can have a morning brew before you go on with your day. The owners are kind, thoughtful and friendly people. We could also see dogs in training, which was very interesting. When we are back in Denmark, we will be looking to stay in Hyrdeskolen again. P.S. The only thing that I was missing was some kind of clothes storage, for example, a simple rail with few hangers in the room/ wall hooks to hang some clothing from the briefcase. Ample space, many things for the kid, like playground and an indoors play room full of Lego. Quiet, with great nature surroundings, easy going place! Much of a better option if you are visiting Legoland etc, than the busiest in town gigs.

Good location in an interesting small town full of art, close to many places (e.g. Billund, Jelling, Ribe, Aarhus etc.). Our room looked over the parking lot, but it was very peaceful. We enjoyed the little terrace in the evenings. The room was clean and comfortable, the wifi worked well, breakfast was delicious (try the bacon!), parking was very convenient in front of the building. Altogether it was a good choice for 5 nights.

a wonderful place to relax, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. an ideal place for families and more. There are animals, trampolines, lots of opportunities for children to play. Our apartment had everything we needed. The owner is very nice and helpful. We will definitely come back here..

The location was perfect for our needs. The shower curtain could be replaced by a door. Other than that we found the facility was excellent. If there were more of this kind of facility we would definitely use them. Loved it!

    We had a walk around the town and we liked the quiet streets...

    We had a walk around the town and we liked the quiet streets and the market. The houses had beautiful gardens and there was a beautiful church quite near the city centre which is worth visiting. There were various places to eat ranging from pizza and burger places to dining places and bars. Also, there were many parks and open places for people to take their children and let them play. There is access to nearby cities like Billund and Vejle through a train and bus service. Finally, the long distance train can take the traveller from Give to all parts of Denmark ( from Copenhagen to Aarhus or Aalborg).

    It is an extremely quiet small town, not a lot of activities but close to Billund, (15 mins on bus), Legoland and Llalandia water park. Well worth the visit. More affordable accommodation than staying in Billund itself, but a lot of walking when you don't have a car on holiday with you. No taxi locally in Give. Two small supermarkets, a small sculpture park, bakery, etc. It has a train station, so good connection to other towns in Denmark, clean and tidy village, peaceful and felt very safe. Safari/small zoo nearby but expensive (approx €35 per person!)

    A really nice and authentic DK commune, peaceful and relaxing. There are nearby shops, restaurants and bakery with great products in a fair price-quality range. In a walking distance you can reach Give main station to further reach Vejle and the wonderful North Sea; respectively 119 bus to arrive to Legoland Billund. I loved the houses, architecture and peacefulness Give instilled. Tak!

    Big, clean room and bathroom with standard hotel furniture. A very good, comfortable and big bed for a good sleep. The hotel is fast reachable from the Billund Airport by car in approx. 15-20 minutes and have a self check-in in the evening (it is possible to open the room door with a personal code, even at a late arrival at 10-11 pm). There is a big parking space in front of the hotel, while the hotel is located in the city center, alongside the shopping promenade of Give.

    Everything was very good! The place is in the middle of Give and Billund, and if you really want to you can go by foot to Legoland (10 minutes by car). The breakfast is very good. Eventhough we do not eat that much in the morning, there is bread, eggs, juice, jam, coffee and more. The host is very friendly and always in for a talk. The room is very good. Everything looks new and is clean! We enjoyed this stay in Denmark.

    We have only spent 1 night here, but this is a nice place located in the heart of Give. It was clean , well equipped, peaceful. It is quite close (15km) to Billund airport and Legoland. Good value for money.
