A friend and I traveled to Hosteria Paraiso for some relaxation and that is exactly what we experienced. Although I made a mistake when booking, the staff were able to accommodate my friend's mobility issues. The staff were some of the most helpful and friendly I have encountered in quite some time. Everyone went above and beyond to make our stay excellent. The pictures are true to life: the tropical plants, the steam room, the whirlpool, the hammock - this place has everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The staff arranged a massage and it was one of the best I have ever had! It's a short walk or a $1.50 cab ride into the village where there are multiple restaurants, and shops. I would absolutely recommend Hosteria Paraiso.

Beatrice welcomed us warmly and showed us our apartment. Spotless clean. Everything we needed was there. Great ambience. Very green. Nice view from our window. We had some questions about the town and more and all were answered warmly. My mother attended morning Yoga and was impressed. We needed to leave a bit later than checkout, for our next checkin elsewhere, and the host let us keep the luggage there and use a common area and made us feel at home.

The location has a spectacular view of the side valley of Vilcabamba, giving it a very rural feel. The beds are very comfortable and the private room we stayed in was gigantic for this price and every room we saw had hammocks and other places to enjoy the beautiful garden and view. Staff were very helpful and accommodating, helping connect us to people who could answer our questions when they couldn’t. We will definitely be staying with them again!
