I felt like I was the first guest there after the renovation. Everything was very, very clean. The bed was super comfy! Hot water available 24h. The room was warm. It is important because there was a light snow outside in the morning (yes, snow in Ecuador, consider the altitude). The staff were pleasant. There's a restaurant on the ground floor—it has VERY DELICIOUS FOOD and large portions. I loved the breakfasts; you could almost call them lunches (they're not included in the accommodation price, but for $5-10 you can have an excellent meal!) Perfect location, almost near the entrance gate to the Thermal Spa. Big window for the whole wall. A lovely green mountain view from the room, and a stunning view of the glacier from the restaurant (nice to enjoy with a cup of hot chocolate in your hand).

It is the best option for staying in Papallacta and enjoying the hot springs. Quality of service in this hotel is really something different and very much worth its price. If you have such possibility - book a room with a fireplace and order a bottle of wine for the evening :) One of the most memorable experiences we have had during our trip to Ecuador.

Julio as really sweet with check in and check out. The views are great and open fire was amazing. + Gas stove for cooking. Beds are also really comfortable. If you are looking for a traditional, rustic Ecuadorian experience then this is for you.

The people here are so nice and helpful, breakfast was great and Oscar took a lot of time to show me around, he even went for a hike with me and didn't want to get paid for it. He knows so much about the area, as some of it belongs to his family and it was really interesting talking with him. The hummingbirds were the best for me! the hut was very cozy - at least once the fire was lit.

Everything!!! The staff, the style of the houses ( Alpine small wooden cabins) , the food, the location, the termal springs pool. Everything is so authentic in this hotel- the best one in Papallacta- I really recomend it !!

Having thermal pools as part of the stay was great. Food was good, and staff very amenable. Location nice in the mountains.
