The place is quiet and clean. The breakfast was wonderful and delicious in the morning. You can watch the sunrise and also see the hot air balloon. The place is close to the Nile and the Valley of the Kings. The owner, Mahmoud, helped us with our visits to the temples. I should write about two separate phenomena. First the house. Everything is simple with the house. Everything is fine. Everything is clean and everything is in order. You can sleep. You can wash. You can enjoy peace and quiet as well. It is possible to eat out, but it is more exciting to eat what the family offers. Who would have thought that in addition to Thai, Italian or Chinese cuisine, there is also Egyptian cuisine. And it is excellent. At first glance, it is strange that there is one bedroom without windows. This also has its pluses. That way you can't hear the sounds coming from outside in the morning. Because the braying of a donkey sounds like a loud alarm clock. The second and much more important thing is the host. Meet Hamada! This is a man for whom nothing is impossible. Do you want to eat home-cooked food in a guesthouse? Do you want to eat at a local restaurant? Go to a fancy café? Do you want to go to the local market? Do you want to see how bread is baked? How falafel is made? Do you want to buy a cake? Shave your beard? Get a haircut? Ride a camel? But not for two minutes but for two hours? Or just the opposite, only two minutes? Ride a donkey cart? Maybe you prefer a Tuk-Tuk? A three-wheeled motorbike that can fit the whole family? Want to see the sunset in the desert? On a sailboat on the Nile? Just name it. No problem. Or don't want to sleep in a house, but in the desert instead? Or why not on the banks of the Nile? (We don't recommend it there, because it gets damp and cold at night when the water vapor condenses.) Not just like that for fun it's called Adventure Guest House. If you are his guest, he will take care of you. He mercilessly cursed the tomb tour guide who started extorting money from us. He told the policemen with guns what kind of d...ck is this man who won't leave his guests calmly alone. Simply put - Hamada is a local who knows all the written and unwritten rules.

The hosts Mustafa and Mohammed are exeptional. They were so helpful with everything! The apartment is spacious and has wonderful open rooms with high ceilings. It is located on the West Bank of Luxor, which is much more chill than the busy East Bank of the city. We loved our stay!
