We loved the hotel: although it was of the late 1920’s and more recent renewed with all the modern comfort, it kept its style and elegance of the past. All members of the staff were utmost friendly and helpful. All can speak good English. The ladies Nesma and Nagham were always ready to help you around with information on Alexandria, and if needed a good taxi driver. Breakfast was outstanding: a large variety, freshly made, excellent service and, for those who are coffee lovers the best made Italian style expresso’s and cappuccino’s. Snacks and meals were the best one can find in Alexandria. Our ‘Classic’ room had all the comfort we could think for our 11-day stay in the hotel. Daily full service. And very important: the rooms have a good isolation to keep all the noise from the street outside.

Our stay at this hotel was truly memorable, largely thanks to the exceptional service recovery by Ms. Jailan. The most impressive part of our experience was her quick and thoughtful response to a major issue we encountered. What initially could have been a significant complaint was transformed into a genuine compliment, all because of her professionalism, empathy, and proactive attitude. I want to take a moment to commend Jailan as her quick action and dedication truly stood out. She should be incredibly proud of herself. She is a shining example of a brand ambassador. Having worked in the industry for many years, I can honestly say that what she did today exemplifies the highest standards of customer service—something every employee in this industry should aspire to. Thank you very much Jailan for turning what could have been a negative experience into a positive one. We’re already looking forward to our next visit and hope to meet again soon!

The Hotel was set in from the street and had a beautiful and welcoming entrance. The welcome drink was a nice touch! The modern spacious room was like the online pictures and since we faced the back, (see attached picture of view)it was quiet. The stone walls and floors are beautiful! The staff was very helpful and answered requests quickly.

We loved the facilities, everything was very clean and all of the staff were very friendly! A special thank you to Merna for checking us in smoothly and upgrading our room to one with a sea view! Also a thank you to the lovely cleaner Ahmed that left our room spotless! The breakfast buffet was so good- so many options!! And finally we visited the Italian restaurant on the premises and were very pleasantly surprised- the food was very delicious and the service was great.
