It was an amazing experience to stay in the rural part of Basque country. Mountain views were all around and donkeys and goats wondering around. Staff was very welcoming.

We LOVEd everything about our stay! Our room was very comfortable, it was sparkling clean, the beds were comfortable and the room was quite large. The breakfast was delicious and had many varieties. Our host prepared fruits and snacks for our kids. We could use the big kitchen and we could buy wine and soft drinks. The huge garden and field around the house was very nice and the kids enjoyed a lot feeding the donkeys and ponies.

It is in a very quiet location, just the birds and the cow bells. It had been a long trip from Portugal getting there, so we stayed two nights to recover. Breakfast was freshly served and we could sit inside or out under their veranda. The restaurants are mainly in Zarautz about 15minutes away. They typically open late in the evening, after 8pm. The first night we found a tapas type bar, which was Ok The second night we went on the owners recommendation to Telesforo, restaurant which she booked for us, and it was superb.

Coming to the surf house here was an unforgettable journey with creating memories and make surprisingly deep bonds with former strangers. I was traveling by myself around Spain as a female solo traveler and let me tell you in no other hostel it was that easy to socialize, meet people, have fun times at the beach, getting yoga classes in the mountains of a national park or even enjoy a little yoga session at the beach! The staff was creating fresh meals where the menu changes every day. I had such a great time here appreciate and thank the whole stoke gang for making my time so great! Will def be back asap

The staff were very attentive to our 6-year-old and even gave him a stuffy toy which he has cherished every since. The breakfast was very good with a lot of attention to detail, such as a lovely shark mug for the hot chocolate.
