At the side of the motorway. Easy to find. Big, clean room. Great bathroom. Powerful shower plus a bath. Staff very helpful. Good communication beforehand and helpful whilst there. Excellent value for money. We will return.

This place is IMMACULATE. I have never been anywhere cleaner. The rooms are not the most modern but it’s upkeep is something else. I have been in 5* hotels that are worse. The welcome from the reception was lovely and she walked me to the parking which was a bit tricky to find. Altho once you have found it the place is well signed and they did send me instructions when I booked so they did try. Once behind the secure electric gates it is level and well paved. The bed was so comfy I slept in.

Right on the camino trail, extremely clean, comfortable and the menu del dia at the restaurant below one of best have experienced so far on camino. Our twin room was spacious with a balcony. It was imaginatively and creatively furnished. Highly recommend to stay here.

Igloos are really, really special - especially if you want to treat yourself after a few long days of walking. It is so obvious with how much care everything was chosen and curated, bed was super comfy, everything worked perfectly, and the basket left for breakfast was something we super appreciated as it allowed for a slower morning than usual. We were particularly blown away by hospitality of Iker and Jana, and by an actually incredible Menu del Dia that we enjoyed in the restaurant.

Had a great stay while on the Camino de Santiago. Room was comfortable and clean but the highlight was meeting Anna and her lovely family. Anna’s mother cooked us an excellent homemade meal, nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely recommend.

It was a pleasant stay in A Santiago hotel. Room was nice and spacious, it had a nice view. Everything was clean and comfortable. Liked that there were dinner and breakfast available.

Walking on camino Via Bayona- the camino passes right by this hostal. Got a nice welcome as a pilgrim. Room comfy, clean and warm. Nice touch is net curtains to hide the less than picturesque views of either N1 at front or car junk yard behind - its in a service area on N1 which feels semi-derelict but the once you get inside the hostal it is very nice! Bar and restaurant mainly serves drivers on the road but food was decent! Good one night stay - and if you felt like stretching your legs there are some nice tracks up the hills behind the hostal - the next village Monasterio de Rodillo is also nice to explore with ermita de Nuestra Señora de Valle.
