Lovely vibes, more of a mountain refuge than a hostel. Friendly staff, comfortable beds, clean bathrooms. Good location at the end of the Ruta del Cares and a good starting point for other day hiking trips. Good dinner and breakfast not included but served just outside. Good views of the mountains and lovely library with a selection of books mainly in Spanish. Very good value for money.

This charming hotel is perfectly situated in Cabrales to explore the superb Cares route, where you can enjoy trekking and hiking across spectacular landscapes.

The hotel is close to the entrance of the Ruta del Cares, so for hikers it is perfect. The rooms are small, but OK. The local host, Manolo is extremely friendly and helpful. The local restaurant is fine. We had even glutene-free bread for breakfast. Sausage or cheese was not on the menu, but otherwise Manolo refilled our baskets and cups when we asked, so it was fine.

This place is simply magical the surrounding garden the driveway you feel like in a romantic movie. Our room was large, clean of course with nice views on the mountains. Verry good breakfast. The place has private parking you receive a remote key from the gate. Lovely personal. Location is also good as you are half hour by car from the nearest beach and about same distance to Picos.

I had a wonderful stay! The location is so beautiful, quiet and peaceful. The hotel is very cozy and has a lot of character with a beautiful garden. The room was lovely, good bed, very nice view and was very clean, I couldn’t wish for more. Patricia and Maria were such lovely people. Despite me not speaking a word of Spanish, we had our conversations via Google translate and it worked perfect (next time I will learn a little bit more Spanish ;) I couldn’t recommend this beautiful hotel more!
