This place is a quintessence of peace and harmony. Designed with attention to every detail Finca las Calmas is a unique hotel (or shall I say retreat) on the Andalusian map. Right from the arrival you feel like you are visiting old friends. Anne Marie and Gerard will make you feel the most important and welcomed person in the world. The rooms, dining area and surroundings creatively combine modern architectural style with Balinese Spa. Its Remarkably quiet due to its location in the middle of Olive Oil Orchards but since it’s placed on top of a hill you get to enjoy endless views up to Sierra Nevada snow-capped peaks (I was visiting in Oktober). Very intimate as well as the hosts make sure no more than 3 rooms are occupied at the same time. If you like a type of cuisine where tradition meets modern flair your taste buds are in for a treat! Gerard’s cooking is truly amazing. No need to leave this place for fancy Grenada restaurants - you have the top chef culinary experience on the spot with meals freshly made from local ingredients. He will include all your food intolerances and personal preferences too! I was swept off my feet. I truly recommend this place for anyone searching for great company, amazing food and peaceful sleep and rest.

Very nice hotel, would highly recommend to other travelers. Friendly and cheerful staff, big rooms and bathrooms, very comfortable beds un quiet rooms with common use of the big balcony. Great deal for 2 course lunch for only €11.- pp, tasty and plenty. To note: it’s available till 16.00. We were late but the waiter was so nice that he served us anyway. Breakfast included freshly squeezed orange juice and it was included in the room price (only €44.-for all). Decor is charming both outside and inside, and plenty of parking infront of the hotel. Hoping to be back!

The rooms were so clean and the property was beautiful! The view from the balcony was breathtaking. The swimming pool was very big and was great for cooling down. The host was helpful with local tips and was very welcoming. The meals were healthy and delicious. It was one of the best accommodations I’ve stayed in and I’ll definitely return when I visit Spain.
