You don´t need long for this town, 1 night here is more than enough. It´s a lovely village with white buildings everywhere, typical of the region. The church and surrounding square is impressive. most of the bars and restaurants are located in just west of the centre on calles Ramon y Cajal, Canalejas and Felipe II. I ate in Pimpollo, and you eat very comfortably and well for about 20€. Everything in town is within 10-15 min walk. Worth noting that there aren´t really any supermarkets, just some small grocery stores, and most close after 20:00, including the petrol stations. It´s also worth noting, there are bus services to Sevilla, Badajoz, Córdoba and the villages in between, but very limited, like 1 or 2 a day from there. A car is recommended.

What a magnificent find. An old railway station converted into a grand hotel. Very impressive! Room was quite large with a veranda overlooking well maintained gardens. Staff very obliging. Big swimming pool.
