Ruben and Oceane have done a remarkable job transforming the property, and their inspiring story adds a special touch to the experience. The breakfast on the terrace, featuring delightful homemade pastries, was simply divine. It felt like a sweet, honeyed start to the day. I will definitely be returning to this incredible haven.

AMAZING! What a charming little hidden gem with beautiful mountain views. We loved everything about our stay and we can't praise the place enough. We stayed out of season so we didn't get to appreciate La Haza in its full wonder so we look forward to returning in the summer. Bernadette and Patreik were so welcoming, friendly and attentive. They truly looked after us during our stay. We had breakfast and evening meal both days of our stay and the food was sensational and cooked to perfection. Patreik is a truly FANTASTIC chef and everything he cooks is just delicious and the local white wine is fabulous, plus we had the added bonus of Patreik's blues music playing from the kitchen. Honestly, we can't express what a wonderful place La Haza is and we look forward to returning later in the year. Thanks again to Bernadette and Patreik.

Fantastic walks all around the village of Iznajar. the lake was beautiful even though it was only 27% full.. The town itself was unspoilt and the Visit to the castle was worth to see. 2 euros for most of us and 1 euros for pensioners..

It is very pretty with surrounding mountains and olive groves and wonderful views of the lake. There are some lovely bars and restaurants and the castle is fantastic to visit and only 2 euros! The only possible downside is that the steep hills may be difficult for people with limited mobility.

You will need transport to visit the area . It's a lovely walk down to the reservoir with a lovely beach and a couple of bars that do lovely food. There are lots of sports in front of hotel as well as a running track . Also the lovely small town of Iznajar with the a castle overlooks all. well worth a visit.

This is our 2nd visit across 8 yrs and we love it.

This is our 2nd visit across 8 yrs and we love it. Would come back again as its one of our favourites, little town with white washed buildings, Moorish castle it's history & most of all little courtyards covered with pots of flowers on walls, fences, verandah's with the most stunning views of the Moorish town, rivers, dams & hills of olive fields set high in the hills. Iznajar we love you!

It's very zen and peaceful. Lovely atmosphere. There wasnt a tv in rooms but this wasnt an issue as it was a peaceful place. Swimming pool was lovely. Home made food presented and served was excellent. You need to be pet friendly as they have two lovely dogs. Surrounded by mountains and lovely views . Carolina and Jean were friendly professional and there when you need them. A Very dedicated couple.

Our stay at Casa La Serena was blissful, a welcome rest after many days of travelling through Anadalucia. Amalia - the hostess was very attentive and gave us lovely recommendations for tapas places in town. We enjoyed a relaxed day by the pool with a spectacular view over Iznajar castle and had a barbecue in the evening. The house and the pool were very clean and well equipped, with outdoor as well as indoor kitchen and a washing machine. I would definitely be coming back if I am ever back in Iznajar.

The room had a beautiful view overlooking the pool and the mountain-top village of Iznajar. The staff were efficient and friendly. And the outside evening dining--cooked on the barbecue grill--was wonderful with excellent views of the countryside. There was also comfortable seating and tables nearby to enjoy the views before and after dinner.

Went to Iznájar to look round at properties, was lovely after a busy day to rest and relax around the pool ,so peaceful and quite Joy and Sham could not do enough for us We loved the village and people so much ,brought a house just down the road
