The staff was amazing and friendly. The rooftop bar was the best place to hang out and work from in the evenings. The location is 4mins away from the beach and close to all the restaurants and bars. There is a taxi rank close to the hotel too if you want to travel the city by taxi. Rooms were cleaned to a high standard and had a japanese toilet which was a life changer. We had a fridge in our room to store bottles of water and kept them very cold. Will definitely consider this hotel again if I were to ever return to Las Palmas.

The location of the hotel is great, plenty of shops and restaurants nearby, with city parking about 5 minutes away and also close to bus stations. The breakfast was always freshly made and delicious. Staff was warm and welcoming and very helpful when asked about activities and restaurants.

Amazing place. It’s beautifully decorated, fantastic breakfast, awesome staff and I was able to reserve parking in the garage ( for a fee). Loved my room 9 with a terrace and huge windows,patio doors. Very tranquil and super close to Centro Historico.

Colourful Capital of Sun and Shopping

The Gran Canaria capital, Las Palmas offers everything that the Canaries stand for: year-round sun, fantastic beaches and great nightlife. However, the largest city of this volcanic island group is more than just a beach resort - its mix of traditional and modern makes it stand out from the crowd.

Colourful Colonial façades line Calle Triana, a top shopping street, while the out-of-town Las Arenas shopping complex is much more contemporary in design. The El Muelle shopping centre is near Parque Santa Catalina and the surrounding restaurants, bars and clubs are focal points of Las Palmas nightlife, together with the historic Vegueta district.

Vegueta is also home to Santa Ana cathedral, best viewed from the palm-lined square which houses the Canary Island Museum. Around the corner is the Casa Museo de Colón, where Columbus stayed en route to America. No doubt he sailed from huge Puerto de la Luz whose numerous vessels are guarded by a lighthouse and stone castle.

On the opposite side of the promontory is long Las Canteras beach, lined by a promenade providing great mountain views in both directions. The 5-star hotels by the beach are just some of Booking.com’s Las Palmas accommodation options, alongside cheap guest houses and apartments, all linked by coastal road to Gran Canaria Airport.

On this trip, I really liked seeing Black-Winged Stilts on the Charco at Maspalomas, having lunch in the cave restaurant at the top of the Guyadeque valley, visiting the Museo Leon y Castillo in Telde and having lunch in a restaurant not used by tourists in the country above Teror which only served local Canary Island food (quite superb !), and lecturing on the history of the Miller family at the University of Las Palmas.

It's a sprawling city stretching along the coast. We enjoyed the old town area best, near the Santa Ana Cathedral. Little restaurants and boutique shops are a short walk away. A visit to the port to look at the ships and yachts with lunch in one of the restaurants on the harbour, finishing off your day there with a drink in the famous Santa Catalina hotel. The bus service is excellent, local buses and the global ones which go further afield. If you want a quiet holiday and slightly better weather (Las Palmas has more cloud & rain) then the south of the island is where you want to be.

We liked the blend of beach and city. Las Canteras beach is about 3km long and the sand is firm when the tide is out, so if you like walking or jogging it's perfect for that. We visited the old town and recommend St Anne's cathedral - there's a great view from the tower .. we also went to the 'Poema del Mar' aquarium in Las Palmas which was a beautiful and informative experience, it is very well laid out. Take about three hours to soak it up (pardon the pun), there's so much to see in there, aquatic creatures from all over the world. The mercado del puerto (structure built by the same company that built the Tour Eiffel) is touted as a vibrant place selling local products but I went three times and most stalls seemed to be shut down, so it was a bit of a disappointment. Wrong time of year perhaps (November)? There are so many restaurants to choose from, and not only Spanish - we also ate Lebanese and Korean - and we were never disappointed with the dishes we ordered. Very good ice cream parlours too. The local bus service is well organized and people are generally very kind and helpful if you're unsure how to get anywhere using it.

The area...on the beach...was perfect for our family reunion. We ran the gamit from grandparents 83 and 86 to grandchildren 1. 3. 5, 7, 13, 15, and 22. A total of 15. There was something for everyone to do; it didn' t hurt that there was a playground across the malecon.

I stayed at Veintiuno Las Palmas during my solo trip to Gran...

I stayed at Veintiuno Las Palmas during my solo trip to Gran Canaria and it was one of the most relaxing and stylish places to stay. Its a small design-focused boutique hotel and you really feel that attention to detail from the moment you step in. The staff was friendly, welcoming, discreet and professional. They really make you feel looked after. I had a room that faced the front of the hotel with a small balcony. It was lovely to open and look across to the Cathedral. I was able to watch the sunrise and sunset. I loved that breakfast was included. There was a limited selection of savory and sweet, but the food itself was delicious - you could have one of each option. The small, intimate rooftop pool was exactly what I needed after a day of exploring. Due to location, there was no on-site parking, however they have an agreement with a particular parking lot, which works out 12 euros daily. Overall it is ideal for solo travelers or couples who value peace and thoughtful design.

Everything about the apartment,location,beach,and host was excellent. Jacobo our host was brilliant, nothing was too much. The apartment was very spacious, clean and well equipped with everything you could possibly need. The location to the beach was around 50 metres. The bus station was within walking distance and very easy to get around Las Palmas and beyond on the buses. Never been to Gran Canaria and can highly recommend the Island and weather in December was great always around 20/22 degrees.

Our host, Berta, was incredibly attentive and truly made the experience special. The structure in relation to similar ones nearby has a good price, is clean, is close to the bus station of San Telmo, which is the point of the best public connections to explore the island of Gran Canaria. usually i don’t give feedback but at this place i can’t resist! it’s the best «hotel» i have been in in gran canaria and i have been to alot of hotels here!! worth every penny and it looks just like the pictures
