Fabulous stylish hotel in Pedrouzo. This hotel is an architectural gem, built out of sustainable wood and walls covered in cork. If you like 'industrial chic' is a must stay. It is a small boutique hotel like no other on the Camino. It also has great food for dinner and breakfast. Run by a family, they are a great team. I hope I can find an excuse to go back!

Gran Hotel Los Abetos is a gorgeous place set on a hill outside the hustle and bustle of SDC. It is wonderfully furnished and the rooms are spacious. It was a perfect overnight stop for us. The staff are wonderful and keen to make our stay as wonderful as possible. the hotel shuttle into town was also a bonus allowing us to see SDC without parking hassles.

Very great albuerge – one of the best I've stayed over the camino. Everything was clean, well organised, there were washing machines, dryer, a place to wash clothes by hand, kitchen was fully equipped. I had to take a taxi to the airport next morning and host reserved it for me. Very great experience.

    Lavacolla is, I’m guessing, mainly used as a stop off before...

    Lavacolla is, I’m guessing, mainly used as a stop off before pilgrims continue their walk to Santiago. It’s also very close to the airport so useful for beginning and end of the Camino. The bar, A Concha, near the church and bandstand does good food!

    Very small town but great for the night before arriving to...

    Very small town but great for the night before arriving to Santiago de Compostela (if you are doing Saint James Way pilgrimage. It is also very close to the airport so you can use it as your base to visit Santiago as well as to go to the airport.

    The airport can be reached on foot or by bus.

    The airport can be reached on foot or by bus. Pleasant if the flight leaves very early. A small bar and restaurant is nearby and also has an evening menu for 16 euros, large salad, fish with potatoes, a drink + a small dessert.

    Wonderful hotel right in the Camino in Lavacolla. Our host was friendly and welcoming, the room was lovely, the bathroom had a superb shower and a window that opened. There was heating, the room was very spacious. Downstairs there was a kitchen and coin operated washing machine and drier as well as a lively garden. Great place, I will recommend it to everyone walking the Camino.

    The hotel was close to the airport for a collection of car the following morning. Also transport via bus was only 1 euro. The hotel is basic and was only for one night stay.
