The apartment was exceptionally clean & spacious, comfy beds and in the centre of the village. Although we didn’t use them as our stay was only overnight & quite rushed, the host left essentials i.e. coffee, milk & a few slices of bread etc which would have been really useful. Communication was excellent. Check in was excellent. Parking was easy. All in all, it couldn’t have been any better.

It was clean, fresh and modern. The bed was very comfortable, the shower was delightful. Our own patio area was very nice. Having a coffee maker, fridge and microwave was very useful. No restaurant, but immediately across the road from the apartments was a café. The local town, by the sea, was pretty.

We had a wonderful stay in the house. The view from the garden and the rooms is truly amazing. The house was clean and well prepared for us. There are plenty of leisure areas, both inside the house and in the garden, making it perfect for a large group. The property was clean and had enough space to park two cars. We especially enjoyed spending time outdoors, whether eating together or simply relaxing under the beautiful lemon tree. Hiking trails start directly from the house. The nearest beach is rocky, so we explored beaches in Mutriku and further away. Mutriku itself is within walking distance, though the path can be quite demanding due to the elevation. The surrounding towns are also picturesque. All in all, this is a great base for exploring the Basque Country.

We were looking for a beachfront hotel between Bilbao and San Sebastián, somewhere close to the Balenciaga Museum for a weekend stay. Hiru Uhinak turned out to be a pleasant surprise – great location with easy access from the train station. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was nicely designed, with good quality furnishings and plenty of space. The food at the restaurant was excellent, and the spa area is one of the largest I’ve visited in a boutique hotel of this scale. It was just after Easter so we had a peaceful and relaxing time both at the property and in town.

A town where it's clear its inhabitants love living.

A town where it's clear its inhabitants love living. With old buildings and a well-preserved historic center. Popular taverns, a pretty port, and surrounding areas perfect for strolling. Cycling is very popular. The ride between Mutriku and Deba is particularly noteworthy, offering beautiful coastal views.

I loved the town, so picturesque, its scenery, and the intricate layout of its streets. A place with so much character and lovely people. It's not very accessible if you can't or don't want to walk, as it's all hills, but it's well worth the effort. A delightful atmosphere, a truly unique place.

Spectacular views, the room is great, the breakfast is complete and very good, but if you want to have dinner there, on the terrace with breathtaking views, they have a restaurant where everything is excellent, we were very pleasantly surprised, spectacular

What we liked most were two things. First, the views from the place, which are beautiful; and second, the personal, warm, and friendly service from Joseba, the owner, and the other people who work there. They make you feel right at home.

Standard village, nothing special, no great beach.

Standard village, nothing special, no great beach. A nice little harbor. Nice for an hour, but that's about it. We ventured further afield for the beach and restaurants, especially since we're vegetarian, which is difficult in this part of Spain. It's well-located near the main cities of the Basque Country.

Very welcoming and attentive Owner and Staff! The room was awesome, with a great view of the Coast and Sea! The beds are very comfortable and the room size was great for the price! Internet was easy to access and the speed was up standard! Private parking was available and gave one a sense of security! The breakfast was amazing, a great variety of fresh fruits and homemade pastries! We really enjoyed the stay and will definitely recommend this lovely Hotel.

Although not directly on the Camino it is well worth leaving Deba behind and go on to Mutriku, the village is stunningly situated on the rocks overlooking the sea. Rin Rooms are close to the road and next door to the supermarket, which is very convenient! The automatic chekinn worked perfectly well, but I hate it nevertheless, because it is so unhuman and unpersonal. There are several bars and restaurants so diner is not a problem.

The hotel was great and the staff very helpful. Lovely views. Breakfast plentiful and very nice, great coffee. Fantastic cheesecake which I bet was homemade and dinner in the evening was very good, really enjoyed it.
