Location of the hotel was good as it is just next to the funicular that takes us to almost top of the mountain. The room is spacious and clean and comfortable. Food in the restaurant, especially the dinner, was exceptionally good. I love the lamb (roast lamb? I forgot) which was the best among the food in my 29-day travel in Spain.

Lovely vibes, more of a mountain refuge than a hostel. Friendly staff, comfortable beds, clean bathrooms. Good location at the end of the Ruta del Cares and a good starting point for other day hiking trips. Good dinner and breakfast not included but served just outside. Good views of the mountains and lovely library with a selection of books mainly in Spanish. Very good value for money.

Lovely hotel in a beautiful building in a perfect location right in the heart of Arenas de Cabrales. Staff were just fabulous - so friendly and helpful! Facilities were great and everything was very clean.
