We came here to escape the noise of Sant Joan in Barcelona and it was perfect. Thick walls and great windows meant we got a really good nights sleep. The building has been renovated so well. The room was comfortable, clean and nicely designed and the breakfast was pretty good. It's a 10-minute walk from the train station and for walkers, the 14km walk to La Garriga (also on the train line) is lovely. We had a good time here.

We spent two weeks at Jose's place for a work assignment in Santa Maria de Palautordera. My colleagues were very happy with the conditions offered, the accommodation is spacious and well equipped. Sant Esteve is a rural village with a twin vilage nearby.

Sant Esteve is a rural village with a twin vilage nearby. It has access to lovely country walks and horse ranches for riding, but also has good shops, restaurants and facilities. The 2 villages are easily accessed from Barcelona airport by the suburban rail link stopping at Palautodera station.

It's a pitty Sant Esteve de Palautordera decided to stop...

It's a pitty Sant Esteve de Palautordera decided to stop proposing breakfasts. For this kind of hotel (premium for the area), it is amazing ! Explanation given by manager is linked to Covid in order to limit exchanges between customers in September 2023 i.e. two years after pandemic ending. Room were breakfasts were served converted in bedrooms.

A hotel an hour from Barcelona, nestled among beautiful mountains. The locals are friendly and the staff are very helpful. The hotel has an old-fashioned style but is new, beautiful, and clean. I recommend it for families and couples who appreciate tranquility and horse stables. You can ride horses and explore the mountains with a professional team. Everything is beautiful. The town is close, just 10 minutes away, and has excellent restaurants and a large supermarket with everything you need. You won't lack anything. There were guests with children who were thoroughly enjoying themselves.

The stay was wonderful: the silence, the sound of the birds, the rooster's crow, the walk in the mountains, and being able to see the stars. The owners were lovely, and we wanted for nothing. At first, we said there was no TV, but the truth is, we didn't need it. We were there to relax, and it was good to disconnect. We will definitely return. I recommend it one hundred percent.

A very welcoming, clean, and quiet hotel.

A very welcoming, clean, and quiet hotel. The service was excellent, and the owner was very attentive. The breakfast was varied and delicious. The hotel is located in a peaceful village where you can find a municipal swimming pool and some great restaurants. A hotel I would definitely return to!

I loved the atmosphere and the staff's attention. A lovely place to disconnect from the city. Sant Esteve de Palautordera is a place to stay. Friendly and peaceful people. Great for connecting with the here and now. Located in a prime spot for hiking and enjoying wonderful food!

A small and pleasant hotel, ideal for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. I stayed there after a meditation retreat and mainly needed peace and quiet, which the hotel provided perfectly. The staff were very friendly and kind, and the breakfast was tasty. There’s a park and good restaurants nearby. I think I’ll come back again. I fell in love with Santa Maria de Palautordera :)

I recommend this hotel. Quiet, calm and friendly staff. We were delighted with the spa and massage. There are many hiking trails near the hotel, clean air and convenient access to the Montseny Park. Near the hotel there are good restaurants such as Dar and pizzeria La Efimera.
