Everything was amazing! The hotel was spotless, the food was excellent and always fully stocked until the end of each meal. There was a wide variety of delicious desserts, pastries, and fresh fruit. The pools were large and clean, and the sea-view solarium was peaceful and relaxing. There were fun evening programs in the lobby with a lovely bar. Special thanks to all the staff – they were incredibly kind, professional, and helpful throughout our stay. Honestly, this hotel had everything you would expect from a 5-star property!

We chose Barcelo for our honeymoon and we definitely made the right decision. The hotel is beautifully designed, the room was spacious, comfortable and quiet and we could try various activities offered for free (aqua gym, tennis, dancing classes, concerts - additionaly they would also organize small trips, workshops and activities for children). The hotel has a gym, sport courts, a souvenir shop, pool bars - 3 euro for a glass of wine, 6 euro for a cocktail for eg) and a la carte restaurants which you can book through their app. There are several pools to swim in and relax and sunbeds for everyone. Guests can also access a nearby beach. It is close to TFS airport and you could spot some airplanes nearby but nothing disturbing. The hotel was a good starting place for trips across the island and as we rented a car, we benefited from the parking lot available. We had half board included in the room rate (breakfast-water, coffee, tea, fresh juices included and dinner-no drinks included) and it was ok for us as we were usually travelling around for lunch time. You could upgrade to all inclusive anytime (lunch and drinks included). The buffet was varied and you could find something tasty for everyone (local specialties, chicken, beef, pork, fish, fruits and vegetables, sweets, but also vegetarian and no sugar options included). The staff (reception, restaurants, bars and housekeeping) was super helpful and we felt taken care of. We were spoiled with welcome and goodbye treats which were a bonus. :)

our stay in Sansofi was absolutely wonderful. It's a beautiful older house that undoubtedly has a beautiful soul. The facilities were very clean, the bathroom modern, the room very quiet and comfortable. The accommodation has a shared kitchen with all the necessary equipment, fridge and microwave. You can use the shared living room or the terrace with sea view. The accommodation is located in a very quiet place, maybe too quiet for some people, but I absolutely loved it, especially if you have a car and can easily drive to more vibrant places, the location is not a problem. Landlady Mari-Ann is a very nice, welcoming and kind person. She lives downstairs in the house with her dog Paco, and mainly appears upstairs in the morning to prepare breakfast. Conversation with her during breakfast was always a very pleasant part of the day. As far as breakfast is concerned, it is a modest buffet, but with an interesting selection from pastries, ham or cheese to cereals or fruit and vegetables. Every day there was something we knew and something new. The coffee is made in a drip machine and is great if this method of preparation suits you. If you miss anything, you can use all the kitchen facilities and prepare your own breakfast, but we definitely didn't need to.

Fantastic view from here up in the hills across the south beaches. There are hiking trails from here too. Easy and cheap to catch a bus to other parts of the island from here too.

Hotel spotless.

Hotel spotless. All staff very friendly and go out their way to make you feel at ease. Lovely location and great access to coastal path. San Blas is great for a night out. Old Fashioned is fantastic, as is Tapas. Spoons is a welcome new addition. Everyone, everywhere is very friendly 😎

Situated in Golf Del Sur - it's pretty much an ex-pat...

Situated in Golf Del Sur - it's pretty much an ex-pat community comprised mainly of the British. If you want nightlife, then this isn't the place for you. There are quite a few bars and restaurants around the place, but better to take a stroll down to San Blas or Los Abrigos for more options. It's one junction down from the airport, so if you don't like aircraft noise, then again, this isn't for you. It's peaceful, usually quite windy, which is good when it's hot!

Lots of places to eat and drink nearby. Local supermarket very handy. Quiet for those that don't like hustle and bustle of a lively resort. Would recommend the Lava Beach Cafe in Golf Del Sur for breakfast or lunch. Also the Wild Geese pub for drinks and food

Love this resort, we stay at the Santa Barbara resort which is a fantastic resort and the rooms are very modern, the pool area is lovely with different levels for sunbathing if you don’t want to be by the pool and you can book your beds a day in advance, so no getting up at the crack of dawn to put your towel on a sunbed. They have a lovely terrance bar with evening entertainment, kids games room and a gift shop & supermarket on site. The bus stop is a short walk away with easy access to the airport or Los Cristiano's. The resort is right on the seafront with a great coastal path that you can walk down to San Blas or even Los Abrigos. Great place for a getaway and the weather is always good.

Apartment was fine, comfortable and well equipped. Pool area was well maintained. Comfortable beds and always plenty of hot water for the showers. Location was ok for us as close to the marina and coastal walkway but not many places with any Spanish feel to eat. Gonzalo was very helpful with the access to the apartment which was through a link sent to my phone. Contact with him was very good and he tried to help us to get a taxi to the airport which was proving impossible. Taxis seem to be in short supply in Tenerife !

hello, we had a wonderful experience at Casa Maggie. The host was very caring and attentive, kind and responsive to any problem. We were able to establish the Internet, which then worked well. the location is excellent, beautiful, in the middle of beautiful nature just a stone's throw away. Tenerife is such a beautiful and rich island that we didn't have much time to laze around in the apartment, which provided all the comforts. Thanks to the host! God bless you!

We were really pleased with our stay at the property. It was nice and clean and fully equipped for anything you'd need during both short or long stay. Community facilities were great too - bar, restaurant, swimming pool and etc. The location is great as well, just a couple minutes' walk to the beach, plenty of nice restaurants around, several decent grocery stores as well. Would recommend to anyone visiting south Tenerife.

Accommodation / travel with this car is a real survival experience. :-) The big plus is that you don't sleep under the open sky and you don't have to walk on your own feet. So, anyone who wants to experience a real adventure will be satisfied. We drove around the entire island of Tenerife. There are plenty of places to sleep. The views of the sunset/sunrise are breathtaking. The silence of the secluded places is calming.
