Really Excellent! From start to finish, everything about my experience was impeccable. The shuttle service was prompt and very efficient, setting the tone for an exceptional stay. Upon arrival, the reception staff welcomed me with warmth and professionalism, ensuring a smooth stay. The management's dedication to guest satisfaction was evident in every interaction and detail. The restaurant was a highlight, offering a delightful variety of dishes, all prepared to perfection. The staff’s attentiveness and commitment to excellence made every dining experience a joy. Human size hotel with nice and reactive staff. My room was big and clean. I also had a kitchen. The free on demand airport shuttle was very convenient and fast . The hotel is both downtown and conveniently located close to the airport. Buffet breakfast was varied but could be more tasty.

This is best visited with a guide .

This is best visited with a guide . Our guide took us to Signum Vitae ... a non-governmental organization dedicated to rehabilitating and improving the lives of disabled people . It is wonderful to see how they make eye-glasses in the facility they have . We also visited the Sabahar fabric workshop ... in a great , peaceful location with lots of trees and flowers . They make [ and sell ] gorgeous things from hand-woven and hand-dyed materials. We visited " Lucy " in the National Museum , and saw the palatial residence of Ethiopia's former emperor Heile Selassie in the Ethnological Museum . The coffee in Ethiopia is excellent !

Be prepared for lots of holes in the sidewalks , and people begging/soliciting . We always felt slightly uneasy when going for a walk , and the many construction sites have you walking in the street with seemingly inconsiderate drivers . We spent more time in the hotel because walking around wasn't enjoyable .

Despite that it was really rainy, we managed to go to Unity Park, Entot Park, Technology Museum, visit the Palace Museum and went shopping for traditional clothing at Shiro Meda and the leather market. I definitely recommend the palace museum visit.

Everything about this hotel was exceptional. As we stepped in to the hotel main entrance, the feeling of hospitality was mesmerising. All the hotel staff included management, reception, restaurant, and security were very professional. It is safe and secure area where verything you need whether it is a shopping malls, restaurants and transport are few steps away. Because we enjoyed two nights of our stay in this hotel, we felt home and extended our stay to 4 nights to explore more about the culture and beauty of Addis Ababa. Highly recommend.
