The hosts were extremely helpful and turned on the sauna just for me as soon as I arrived, which was great, as it was my first experience with a sauna in Finland and it couldn't have been more perfect! The location is simply beautiful! Ten steps from the lake, super comfortable and clean cottage. You can use the canoes to explore the lake. The water usage is super sustainable, with a bathroom that has an ecological sewage treatment system. Perfect silence and tranquillity to be in touch with nature and rest! It was an incredible experience! The tent was brand new and clean. We really liked the pier and kayaks. We used them to get to one of the islands of Linnansaari in just an hour! The kitchen is very good, there is a lot of lighting. The sauna complex is comfortable and simple, especially I liked the hot pool.The staff is very friendly and pleasant, thanks to the guys for their help!

Yo this place was 🔥🔥🔥. Slept in a tree, kayaked all day, grilled some burgers at night, and chilled hard. Showers were way better than I expected for a forest setup, and the kitchen had all the basics. Shared spots but super clean. 10/10 would def come back — probs for longer next time!

The location has everything you need to spend a few unforgettable days away from the urban hustle and bustle. The midnight sunset and the slightly later sunrise are fascinating and can be watched from the dock. The scenery is breathtaking and the lake is superb. Nature is wild and feels like it’s from another reality. Although the location is in a tourist village, you don’t feel it – the lake and its shores are very clean and I didn’t see a single piece of trash or plastic floating in the water. I highly recommend taking a boat ride to the opposite shore; there are many small islands where you can easily dock. Fishing from the boat or the shore can offer memorable surprises. Keep in mind that the boat provided by the location does not have a motor, which you will need. We brought an electric one, but you can probably rent one from the hosts. The effort to reach this location was absolutely worth it.
