Myself, wife and 8 year old daughter stayed here for 3 nights and our stay was absolutely perfect. This Finnish cottage is more than just a stay—it’s an unforgettable experience :-) Set against the backdrop of a frozen lake and surrounded by snow-blanketed forests, our stay truly felt like a Christmas movie. We loved the Sauna experiences, and having access to the lake if we dared to dip ! Making the log fire was my privilege that provided a comforting glow and plenty of warmth, day and night. The cottage was very comfortable with everything we needed and more ! Credit to Carolina and Jonas who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was simply outstanding. They are the best Hosts EVER !!!!!!!

First of all, the location of the property is incredibly beautiful. Located in the middle of nature directly on a lake. The perfect place to recharge your batteries. The house is small and super cozy. It is equipped with everything you need and nothing is left to be desired. The sauna is also a big plus. We used them every day. There are sledges at the house with which you can toboggan right down the entrance to the house to the lake. The house is very clean and it also has a wood stove that you can use. It's incredibly cozy and we loved our days there. Katja's reindeer farm is 2 km from the house. Also worth a visit! We landed in Rovaniemi and had a rental car from there. The accommodation cannot be reached without a car.

We had an amazing stay and the host was fantastic! Not only did he was super responsive, but he also let us borrow his snowmobile and spent a full morning coming to the house to make an open fire in the forest were we grilled sausages and listening to stories about Finland and the area. It was truly amazing and we are so greatful for this amazing experience!!! The house is super cosy and looks exactly as in the images and we loved the location about 30 min from Rovaniemi and with the Forrest just behind the house.

Beautiful waterfront house with ample space, a jacuzzi, a wooden sauna, two bathrooms, and cozy bedding. The house was clean, but it's just a shame that the owner didn't have time to unload the dishes from the dishwasher.Special thanks to him for the jacuzzi that was already prepared. It's a perfect place for an extended stay, and the location is excellent. We stayed with six people for one night, and everyone was delighted.

Absolutely magical place, just in front of a lake (frozen in winter). We loved everything about it. The whole area felt like it was only for you. The villa itself has all the amenities and is extremely cozy and cute. Our highlight was seeing the Aurora Borealis from the jackuzi. Also Katja was super nice, helpful and responsive about everything. We are hoping to come back there.

The location in the forest with Aurora sky views over the frozen lake is amazing. The cottage itself is beautiful and had everything we needed. Also the visit to the reindeer farm of the owners was an amazing experience. Sanna Mari provided us all the information about the farm and the reindeers. We had the best time ever and we would love to come back.
